A finales de noviembre del año pasado, mis hijos hicieron su primera comunión, para llevar esto a cabo este encuentro con Dios, se necesitan varias cosas entre estas una vela blanca... Mi idea principal era que la vela blanca fuera decorada y yo la quería comprar; ya que en estos últimos día del año yo estaba súper full con varias situaciones que tenía en casa y el tiempo que tenía libre estaba muy limitado. Acercándose más los días me fui a una mercería donde venden todas estas cosas listas; al preguntar los precios quede impresionada con los costos, muy elevados para mis gustos... Detallando todo me fijé que decorar estas velitas no era para nada difícil así que pensé rápidamente que lo más económico era comprar los materiales así que así lo hice y busque inspiración en pinterest...
Para realizar estás hermosas velitas decoradas busque modelos en pinterest de niño y niña, así me fui guiando y realmente fue súper rápido, fácil y económico... Les muestro como lo hice:
Materiales:
Vela blanca
Cinta blanca de razo delgada
Cinta blanca de razo gruesa
Cinta decorada para hacer el lazo
Apliques a corde a la primera comunión, pueden ser espigas, cruces lo que mas les guste...
Silicón caliente y frío
Hilo y aguja
Flores blancas
Yesquero
Nota: es importante mencionar que yo use estos colores porque me parecieron los más acordes para la ocasión...
Ahora sí el paso a paso 🤭
Paso a paso:
Para la decoración de estas velas yo utilice las velas con que bautice a mis hijos...
Entonces, inicie forrando con la cinta blanca delgada la parte la baja de la vela, tratando que de quedara bien cubierta sin dejar espacio vacíos, esto lo hice mas o menos hasta 3/4 partes de la vela.
Ahora me enfoque en el lazo, para esto tome las dos cintas gruesas e hice una orejita la fije con hilo y aguja, luego hice la otra orejita y fije de nuevo con hilo, tratando que ambas partes quedaran del mismo tamaño...
Con un trozo de la cinta mas delgada forre el centro del lazo justo donde estaba el hilo, para disimular esta parte.
Ahora pegue con silicón el lazo a la vela y deje secar
Cabe destacar que yo hice de esta forma pq me pareció la mas facil, claro si ustedes tienen otra la pueden emplear...
Tome las flores que compre e hice un pequeño ramito que luego pegue en el centro del lazo, tambien le quede una decoración de primera comunion y algunas medias perlas.
Asi termine con la vela de la niña
Para la vela de mi niño, hice lo mismo forre la vela e hice un lazo sencilo, algo que fuera mas serio y acorde para un niño varon, tambien coloque el aplique del caliz..
Para finalizar hice unos cortes en los extremos de las cintas de los lazos y con el yesquero queme los bordes para que no le salieran los hilos.
Asi quedaron listas, esto fue un trabajo súper facil y sencillo; su costo fue minimo y lo hice con mucho amor para mis hijos.
Con el pasar de los dias a la chica de la catequesis le gustó tanto mi decoración que me pidio decorar un velon usado en las ofrendas y la botella de vino de consagración.
Bueno amigos este fue todo mi trabajo manual para la primera comunion de mis hijos, la verdad fue algo fácil y súper económico... Gracias a Dios perdi mi miedo y me enfoque en realizarlo, quedaron lindos sencillos y elegantes...

To make these beautiful decorated candles I looked for models on pinterest of boy and girl, so I was guided and it was really super fast, easy and economical .... I show you how I did it:
Materials:
White candle
Thin white ribbon
Thick white ribbon
Decorated ribbon to make the bow
First communion appliqués, they can be spikes, crosses, whatever you like...
Hot and cold silicone
Thread and needle
White flowers
Tinder
Note: it's important to mention that I used these colors because I thought they were the most appropriate for the occasion....
Now for the step-by-step 🤭
*Step by step
For the decoration of these candles I used the candles with which I baptized my children....
Then, I started by lining with the thin white ribbon the lower part of the candle, trying to cover it well without leaving empty space, I did this until about 3/4 of the candle.
Now I focused on the bow, for this I took the two thick ribbons and made a little ear and fixed it with thread and needle, then I made the other little ear and fixed it again with thread, trying that both parts were of the same size...
With a piece of the thinner ribbon I lined the center of the bow just where the thread was, to hide this part.
Now glue the ribbon to the candle with silicone and let it dry.
It should be noted that I did this way because it seemed to me the easiest, of course if you have another way you can use it....
I took the flowers that I bought and made a small branch that I glued in the center of the ribbon, I also left a first communion decoration and some half pearls.
This is how I finished the girl's candle
For my boy's candle, I did the same, I lined the candle and made a simple bow, something that was more serious and according to a male child, I also placed the chalice applique....
Finally I made some cuts at the ends of the ribbons of the bows and with the tinder I burned the edges so that the threads would not come out.
So they were ready, this was a super easy and simple work; its cost was minimal and I did it with love for my children.
As the days went by, the girl from the catechesis liked my decoration so much that she asked me to decorate a candle used in the offertory and the consecration wine bottle.
Well friends this was all my manual work for the first communion of my children, the truth was something easy and super economical .... Thank God I lost my fear and I focused on making it, they were beautiful, simple and elegant....
