Braiding my sister's short hair

Some skilled are learnt while some are free gift of nature,
Some people go through schools or personnels to aquire a particular skill while other people are gifted that same skill.

That is my experience with hairdressing, hairdressing is a free gift of nature to me though i know that for me to be perfect and successful in it, i have to go through tutor (am not that perfect).

My siblings would always come to me to braid their hair because i won't request for money and as their eldest sister, I have no option, i guess that's one thing with eldervsisters lol 😂.

This particular sister of mine , came asking for her hair to be Braided by me, knowing fully well how short her hair has become(she has her hair cut down),

At first, i had to turn deaf ears to her but she kept insisting for days that i braid her hair.

"Sis your hair is short, I've not braid a short hair before, please go to a professional to do that"
I told her,

"You have to give me some money to pay a hairdresser, if you won't braid my hair"
That was her reply.

Ah! Noo, how can i give someone money to braid her hair when my own is not braided yet and i have comb and hands to do the work lol 😂,
Abeg sit down and tell me the style you wish to be braided on your hair hahaha.

She sat down and requested for a simple hair style that can last for about a week or two just to maintain her steeze,

Well, i didn't have much hairstyle options to braid on her hair since it was too short for an unprofessional like me, i brought out my comb for combing and dividing the portion to be braided and off we started ..

I started by braiding the back,giving it a smooth and clean curve,
At the middle i braided a neat zig zag designed so it wouldn't be too simple but unique to the eyes,

I also gave her a nice smooth curve at the front of hair and a little zigzag design to compliment the back side.

Though my thumbs were paining me because of how short her hair was but am glad i pulled through,
Her braided hair brought out some beauty in her and am glad, she loved it so much.
