I was inspired by my friend's necklace. Her necklace was made of real stones and every stones has it's unique shape. I like how it look and feels like it would look nice with casual wear. I do have many random black beads in my storage, now I know what to do with them!
First, I collect all of the black beads and try to arrange them from my memory
Then, I get a 0.5mm fishing line, and start stringing the beads like below. The hair pin is just to prevent the beads from falling out.
Longgg way to go
Then, its time to make a knot.
Get a chamsell and a positioning bead.
String over the chamsell , then the positioning bead, so the bead will end up inside chamsell.
Carefully flatten the positioning bead with a plier. Make sure to flatten near the knot, because after flattening, you can't move the bead easily anymore.
After that, loop the string back into the chamsell.
You can close the chamsell with a plier.
For the string, I loop it back into the beads, and cut the extra off. So the knot is more durable.
Do these on both side of the necklace.
I take some jumprings and a lobster clasp.
Hook the lopster clasp on one side, then some jumprings at the otherside
Something like this, and the necklace is done!
