As promised in my first post, today I introduce Tiquinho, my youngest kitten. He was adopted a few months after Dengo, in 2022, to play with her. It was very difficult to adapt, I had no idea that I should make contact little by little and I already put him in front of her on the first day.
She (right side, picture) was in shock and hid for a couple of days, and then she bared her teeth and tried to advance on him. It was a little difficult and I could understand more about how cats are sensitive and super territorial, methodical; Anything that affects their routine and space has a huge impact on them.
Almost ten days later she didn't want to hit him anymore - he was very patient and I almost called him Buddha, because he was beaten and stood still, and I respect the lady of the house lol.
Since he arrived, I noticed that there was something different about him. It came from a litter of 9 black kittens that were in a small apartment and I took the first one I could, because they all hid. He was the smallest of them all and has a funny face, looks angry and surly, a serious look. But his personality is the opposite: he is super docile and resilient, and after a few months I found out that he is IVF+. They say that IVF kittens are very sweet and I confirmed that. I've been with him for two years now, and he has turned out to be an extremely affectionate and companionable cat, who loves affection and is totally addicted to playing. He shows his belly a lot and makes eye contact for us to play and pet him. Irresistible!
He makes sounds all day, kind of crying, but he's calling to play. At first it was very strange, but we got used to it (it is really very sonorous). He loves to bite and scratch our hand (obsessed). Naturally very charismatic, he makes very funny poses, in addition to having a unique look. He wants to do everything that Dengo does and when she passes he simply forgets about us to go after her. Quite a personality! It is the child of the house.

Conforme prometido no meu primeiro post, hoje apresento Tiquinho, meu gatinho mais novo. Foi adotado alguns meses depois da Dengo, em 2022, para brincar com ela. Foi bem difícil a adaptação, eu não fazia ideia de que deveria fazer o contato aos poucos e já coloquei ele na frente dela no primeiro dia.
Ela ficou em choque e se escondeu por uns dois dias, e depois mostrava os dentes e tentava avançar nele. Foi um pouco difícil e deu para entender mais sobre como os gatos são sensíveis e super territorialistas, metódicos; qualquer coisa que afete sua rotina e espaço tem um impacto enorme neles.
Quase dez dias depois ela já não queria mais bater nele - ele foi muito paciente e eu quase o chamei de Buda, pois apanhava e ficava paradinho, e respeito à dona da casa rs.
Desde que ele chegou, notei que havia algo diferente nele. Ele veio de uma ninhada de 9 gatinhos pretos que estavam num apartamento pequeno e eu peguei o primeiro que consegui, pois todos se esconderam. Ele era o menor de todos e tem uma carinha engraçada, parece bravo e ranzinza, um olhar sério. Mas a personalidade dele é o oposto: ele é super dócil e resiliente, e depois de alguns meses descobri que ele é FIV + . Dizem que os gatinhos FIV são muito meigos e confirmei isso. Já estou com ele há dois anos, e ele revelou-se um gato extremamente afetuoso e companheiro, que ama carinho e é totalmente viciado em brincar. Mostra muito a barriguinha e faz contato visual para a gente brincar e fazer carinho com ele. Irresistível!
Ele emite sons o dia todo, meio que chorando, mas está chamando para brincar. No começo era muito estranho, mas já nos acostumamos (ele é realmente muito sonoro). Ama morder e arranhar a nossa mão (obcecado). Naturalmente muito carismático, faz poses muito engraçadas, além de ter um olhar único. Quer fazer tudo que a Dengo faz e quando ela passa ele simplesmente esquece da gente para ir atrás dela. Uma personalidade e tanto! É a criança da casa.
