Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

It may not be Caturday today, but it is definitely a day for celebrations!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Our house is abuzz with activity, and we cats have already had our Christmas treats ahead of Hooman visitors arriving and doing Hooman things!

Now is the time to have a good long Christmas nap, and we all have our favorite spots picked out, although we do like keeping each other's company, even during naptime.

Smudge is the only exception... she is allowed in the room with the Christmas tree, because she is "well behaved," according to the Hoomans. The truth is that she's just old and not very much into jumping, anymore.

But with her seniority, she has definitely earned her Christmas Tree Privileges.

Anyway, it is a very windy, rainy and cold day — and night — again today, so it is perfect for finding a nice warm spot to nap!

I know the Hoomans were very grateful that the high winds and rains did not cause the electricity to go out... and dinner (I think) went off without a hitch.

Chances are that everyone here — meaning the Hoomans — will remain in a pretty relaxed and laid back mood for the rest of this week... and that suits me just fine! Tomorrow, I shall probably be helping the Dad-Hooman with his artwork, or whatever hobby he decides to delve into.

He's clearly in a good mood, because he was quite receptive to my request to make a Christmas blog post today!

Always something to explore and get into!

As we worked on this together, we realized that it will be the first post that will actually pay out in the new year, so that's kind of cool!

This week we will probably also try to set ourselves a few 2025 goals for the Curator Cat blog, as well as for our Hive Cats Community which really needs a bit more hands-on development.

Anyway, the Dad-Hooman says he has to get back to family time, so this is where we will say good night for this time around!

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!

Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!

Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!

Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.

There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
