Cats are truly a source of joy especially when you live with one. Last weekend my wife was changing curtains and so she just dropped the set to be replaced on the floor. Bella the timid cat suddenly got up from her bored corner and bolted towards the curtain that was laying on the floor.
Then to my surprise Bella stretched her front limbs in full extension mode to signify that she's laying claim to the fabric. Knowing she's a bit defensive when she has called dibs on something so we let her be to her state of happiness.
The curtain was put on the floor around 1 pm and 6 pm she hasn't still moved away from it to pee or eat. I then decided to carry her away and enticed her to a treat while somebody removed the curtain.
I found out she has a fascination for nice fabrics because as we welcomed her to our home we bought her a cat bed. She didn't bother using it. One time my wife put her work blazer on the bed but left the door ajar, she didn't know Bella inconspicuously followed her in the bedroom. Seeing the blazer on the edge of the bed, she jumped and tucked herself above the blazer.
Wifey has a lot of those old uniforms as they change yearly. So I took some from the storage room and showed it to her and then put it on the unused catbed, she immediately laid claim to the bed. Since then she hangs out on her bed more often.
