Sweet and beautiful like a sunset that comes in the earth.
A glass of iced carrot celery coconut water that is unforgettable like a sunset.
Beauty often comes with sorrow. It can't be separated at all. After hardship comes ease. After dark there is light and vice versa. That's how it describes the beauty of the sunset. It should make us understand that there will always be sacrifices to be able to enjoy beauty.
Sunset is also often used as inspiration for making food and drink menus. Including me this time. I named my cold drink "Sweet Sunset".
"Sweet Sunset" is a beautiful portrait of life's sweetness. But behind that, there are ingredients that many people might not like. Although very healthy. Behind "Sweet Sunset" there are ingredients carrot and coconut water.
From Celery
I have a supply of big celery stalks from the organic market. I also decided to make juice. I heard a lot of information that celery juice is very good for detoxifying the body and can make skin healthier and glowing.
A large celery like this is not a familiar vegetable to me. Especially with a strong enough fragrance and it will be a challenge to make a delicious drink.
I'm looking for some information about a mixture that will make celery not overpowering the drink. I have a task for my family how to make sure that the drink I make doesn't go to waste and can be liked by them, especially the small children in my mother-in-law's family. Because now I make this drink at my mother-in-law's house.
The best choice for the ingredients that I will use to mix the celery is carrots and coconut water.
Coconut Water
Like water from heaven. Coconut water is sweet and full of health benefits. Refreshing and we can even drink coconut water as often as possible without harmful side effects for it. Besides that, we also believe that coconut water can treat the symptoms of various diseases such as fever.
I am grateful to have many blessings to always have coconut in the area where I live. This time at home my mother-in-law also had lots of coconuts, freshly harvested from the garden.
Because there are lots of coconut supplies, I will make a mixture of celery for juice. I will only use coconut water because the flesh of the coconut fruit is old and has a hard texture.
Removing Coconut Water From Coconut
The supply of coconuts at my mother-in-law's house are old coconuts that will be prepared to make coconut milk from coconut pulp. So I only use coconut water.
You can use young coconut or for practical reasons, you can only use coconut water from instant products, which are currently being sold in the modern market.
I have to work a little hard to open the coconut and get the coconut water out of the coconut. Coconuts in the area where I live are large coconuts. Also, it has thick coconut fiber to protect the inside of the coconut. The fibers will prevent the inside of the coconut from breaking when the coconut is dropped from a tall coconut tree.
A sharp machete is a must-have tool to extract the coconut water. Just be careful and you have to get used to it or you will have a hard time wielding a heavy machete.
I removed some of the outer coconut skin. They have a thick outer shell. It just feels like a lot of work for this. But I'm used to it. Incidentally, my husband wasn't home this time, so I had to do it all by myself.
After successfully removing some parts of the outermost coconut skin, you can see the hard coconut cells. The older the coconut, the harder it is to eat the coconut shell, and the harder it is to break.
I cracked the coconut shell which no longer had the outermost layer of coconut shell. Then get ready to spit out that coconut water. Oh, looks really fresh.
Ready To Make Juice
After I get coconut water from a coconut, then I prepare the other ingredients.
First I prepare the carrots. I peel carrots with a potato peeler. Then chop the carrots to make them easier to crush in a blender. If you use a juicer, you don't need to cut the carrots into small pieces anymore.
Then, also cut the celery into small pieces. Don't forget to wash them all with clean drinking water because we will be drinking the juice from the raw ingredients.
Blend all ingredients. You can add more sweetener if you are not used to celery ingredients. After that strain the juice before serving.
Prepare ice cubes for serving. If you want to serve it later, you can just store the juice in the refrigerator. But make sure you drink the juice on the same day. Fresh juices are full of benefits and don't lose their nutrition.
The result is a beautiful color. Much like sunsets. The dominant sweet taste of coconut water deserves to make this drink my nickname "Sweet Sunset".
My eyes feel fresh looking at "Sweet Sunset" juice. As my thirst is satisfied after enjoying this iced carrot celery coconut water juice. The end quote, I love it. "Sweet Sunset" for have a nice day.

Wow! This is indeed an amazing drinks. Coconut water or juice is naturally sweet and for sure no need to add any sweetener for this. This is so healthy being mixed with carrots and celery.
I haven't tried this drink, maybe I could try this when we got a young coconut.
I like the name of your juice. It is a sweet name. ☺️
It seems that I want to drink a glass of it. ☺️
I often used celery in cooking as I like the aroma added. Yet , I didn't know that it could be added in a juice!
Something new I discovered!
