Greetings, my dear friends of amazing drinks. I hope you are very well, in good health and well being.
On the days my nephew visited us, one of the sightseeing tours we had planned because it is a must-see when visiting Bogota was to climb Monserrate and there, with its cold air and often cloud-covered sky, was the perfect setting to enjoy an incredible hot drink. A drink that would comfort us from the cold in the heights of the city, where the view extends over the immense urban landscape, with the mountains hugging the horizon.

En los días que mi sobrino nos visitó, uno de los paseos turísticos que habíamos planificado porque es una visita que no puede faltar cuando se visita Bogotá era subir a Monserrate y allí, con su aire frío y su cielo a menudo cubierto de nubes, estaba el escenario perfecto para disfrutar de una increíble bebida caliente. Una bebida que nos reconfortara del frío en las alturas de la ciudad, donde la vista se extiende sobre el inmenso paisaje urbano, con las montañas abrazando el horizonte.

After the walk and the usual photographs that remain for the memory, we went to one of the restaurants, we sat on a balcony with an incredible view and ordered hot drinks. I chose a yellow fruit aromatic because I really like the citrus aftertaste that lingers in my mouth and the sensation of freshness that I feel every time I drink these aromatic drinks. As soon as my aromatic arrived, presented in a beautiful glass, I held it in my hands, and, immediately I felt the warmth that, little by little, comforted me. The aroma enveloped me even before the first sip, because it is an aromatic with chamomile tea as a base, a mixture of passion fruit, as it is also known, with its intense citric essence, the tropical sweetness of mango and the freshness of mint.
I confess that the first sip is an explosion of flavors on the palate. The parchita gives this delicious aromatic a touch of acidity that awakens the senses, the mango gives it its silky sweetness and the mint, with its freshness, leaves an aftertaste that feels light and refreshing. The whole combination is a symphony of flavors that comforts my body and soul.
I took another sip, letting the warmth flow through me. The combination of ingredients is perfect for this weather. At this altitude, where the air is cooler and every breath feels different, a hot drink is best for the body. This fruit blend is one of my favorites. I love the vibrant, natural flavors.
Luego del paseo y las fotografías de rigor que quedan para el recuerdo, fuimos a uno de los restaurantes, nos ubicamos en un balcón con una vista increíble y pedimos bebidas calientes. Yo elegí una aromática de frutos amarillos porque me gusta mucho el regusto cítrico que persiste en mi boca y la sensación de frescura que siento cada vez que tomo estas aromáticas. En cuanto llegó mi aromática, presentada en una hermosa copa, la sostuve entre mis manos, y, de inmediato sentí el calor que, poco a poco, me confortó. El aroma me envolvió incluso antes del primer sorbo, pues es una aromática con té de manzanilla como base, una mezcla de parchita o maracuyá, como también se le conoce, con su esencia cítrica e intensa, el dulzor tropical del mango y la frescura de la hierbabuena.
Les confieso que el primer sorbo es una explosión de sabores en el paladar. La parchita aporta a esta deliciosa aromática un toque ácido que despierta los sentidos, el mango le proporciona su dulzura sedosa y la hierbabuena, con su frescura, deja un regusto que se siente ligero y refrescante. Toda esta combinación es una sinfonía de sabores que me reconforta en cuerpo y alma.
Tomé otro sorbo, dejando que el calor fluyera por mi interior. La combinación de ingredientes es perfecta para este clima. A esta altura, donde el aire es más fresco y cada respiración se siente distinta, una bebida caliente es lo más conveniente para el cuerpo. Esta mezcla de frutas es de mis favoritas. Me encantan los sabores vibrantes y naturales.
While I was enjoying my aromatic drink, the beautiful view left me absorbed for a few moments. At that moment, everything felt in perfect harmony: the cold that touched my cheeks, the enveloping aroma of my drink and the tranquility of being on high, contemplating the immensity of the landscape with my loved ones. Undoubtedly, an unforgettable moment in the pages of my life.

Mientras disfrutaba de mi aromática, la hermosa vista me dejó absorta por unos instantes. En ese momento, todo se sentía en perfecta armonía: el frío que rosaba mis mejillas, el aroma envolvente de mi bebida y la tranquilidad de estar en lo alto, contemplando la inmensidad del paisaje junto a mis seres queridos. Indiscutiblemente, un momento inolvidable en las páginas de mi vida.
Si vienen a Bogotá y visitan Monserrate no dejen de disfrutar una de las deliciosas aromáticas que ofrecen en las alturas de la ciudad, estoy segura de que les encantará.
