Papelón with Lemon is one of those drinks that once you start drinking it you don't want to stop. Here in my country it is very common to see it everywhere.
Papelón, Panela, Piloncillo, etc., is extracted from Sugar Cane, therefore combined with Lemon, the result will be a delicious drink, very sweet but also refreshing.
This drink is one of my favorites, especially in the months where the heat is intense, sometimes I can put a lot of lemon and a little panela, other times a lot of both, the truth is that it is in the top of my favorite drinks 👌
The recipe that I will share with you today is a little different from how I normally prepare this drink, but I wanted to try to see how it is, and the truth is very delicious, I think that from now on I will make my Papelón with Lemon this way.
Ingredients:
- 200 Ml of Lemon Juice.
- 250 Ml of Warm Water.
- 400 Ml of Filtered Cold Water.
- 250 Grams of Piloncillo, Papelón, Panela, etc.
- Ice to taste.
Let's get on with the preparation.
We start by placing the Panela in a pot and adding the 250 ml of warm water.
Then we cook over medium heat, until the Panela melts completely, let it rest for about 15 minutes, so that it cools a little.
Now in the We are going to pour the Panela mixture into 400 ml of cold water. It is better to strain it because sometimes the panela tends to have some residue.
Then we are going to add the juice Lemon, this is the ingredient that will give freshness to this drink.
We mix very well.
Add ice to taste.
Our drink is now ready to enjoy! 😍
This recipe is delicious, I think the sweetness of the Panela is quite balanced with the acidity of the Lemon.

Papelón con Limón, es de esas bebidas que una vez que empiezas a tomarla ya no quieres parar, aquí en mi País es muy común verla por todos lados.
El Papelón, Panela, Piloncillo, etc., es sacado de la Caña de Azúcar, por lo tanto combinado con Limón, el resultado será una bebida deliciosa, muy dulce pero también refrescante.
Esta bebida es de mis preferidas, sobre todo en los meses en donde el calor es intenso, unas veces le puedo poner mucho Limón y poca Panela, otras veces mucho de los dos, lo cierto es que se encuentra en el top de mis bebidas favoritas 👌
La receta que les compartiré el día de hoy es un poco diferente a como preparo normalmente esta bebida, pero quise probar a ver que tal, y la verdad muy deliciosa, creo que de ahora en adelante haré mi Papelón con Limón de esta manera.
Ingredientes:
- 200 Ml de Jugo de Limón.
- 250 Ml de Agua templada.
- 400 Ml de Agua fría filtrada.
- 250 Gramos de Piloncillo, Papelón, Panela, etc.
- Hielo al gusto.
Vamos con la preparación.
Empezamos colocando en una olla, La Panela y agregamos los 250 Ml de Agua templada.
Luego montamos a cocinar a fuego medio, hasta que la Panela se derrita por completo, dejamos reposar unos 15 minutos, para que enfríe un poco.
Ahora en los 400 Ml de Agua Fría vamos a verter el preparado de Panela, es mejor colarlo porque a veces la panela tiende a tener algunos residuos.
Luego vamos a Agregar el jugo de Limón, este es el ingrediente que le dará la frescura a esta bebida.
Mezclamos muy bien.
Agregamos Hielo al gusto.

Esta receta esta buenísima me parece que queda bastante equilibrada el dulzor de la Panela con la Acidez del Limón.
