Sabemos que durante el tiempo que estuvo esta ley, las personas buscaron maneras de salirse con la suya, como el alcohol estaba prohibido había que buscar maneras de beberlo y la mejor forma posible fue con la creación de cócteles porque a simple vista un cóctel no parece algo más que un simple jugo. De estos tiempo salieron muchos cócteles famosos que conocemos hoy en día.
I had this recipe saved from my previous job but I hadn't had the opportunity to put it here. It is the most popular cocktail during prohibition and remains so to this day. We know that during the time this law was in place, people looked for ways to get their way, since alcohol was prohibited we had to find ways to drink it and the best possible way was to create cocktails because at first glance a cocktail does not look like something more than just a juice. Many famous cocktails that we know today came out of these times.
This cocktail has two ways to prepare, due to its sour peculiarity, since these cocktails are those that contain lemon juice and egg white but the latter is optional, but this time we will not do it that way.

This is one of the simplest cocktails there is, so easy that you will have it ready in less than a minute. To start we need to put ice in the shaker and we will also put it in our glass to temper it.
We will use 2 ounces of whisky but not just any whisky, we will use a bourbon.
1 onza de zumo de limón
1 ounce of lemon juice
1 onza de Sirope simple (Sirope de azúcar)
1 ounce Simple Syrup (Sugar Syrup)
We mix in the shaker for a short time and ready to serve, we can add a slice of lemon to decorate.
And as I said before you can also use egg white but it is optional, I stuck to the original recipe, I hope you liked it and try it sometime.
