Where I live in New York, there's never really off seasons for fruits because they can be found on the shelves year round in the city.
Contrary to popular belief, New York is mostly woods and nature and fresh fruit stands are definitely seasonal, so the freshest best stuff is seasonal but we always have fruit no matter what because of corporations making frozen bags of stuff like this.
