Dear, drink enthusiasts and community members!
Amala, also known as Indian gooseberries (Phyllanthus emblica), is one of the most important medicinal plants in the traditional Indian system of medicine, Ayurveda. It exhibits a range of beneficial properties, including chemopreventive and chemo-dilatory effects, as well as free radical scavenging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimutagenic, and immunomodulatory activities. These properties are effective in both the treatment and prevention of cancer.
In India, we often use amala in our daily diet in the form of pickles, juice, murabba, and mouth fresheners or digestive powders. Recently, I was preparing a premix for a digestive drink. Last week I bought some Amala from the market to make a premix of Amala and beetroot.
Today after returning from the market, we felt sweaty and thirsty, as soon as we came home I wanted to make this healthy drink to cool us down.
Amala Indian gooseberries. after grated them they released lots of juice which I saved some to make this drink.
Beetroot the same I did with beetroot and saved juice.
Ingredients
