Let's make a nutritious and delicious drink from young corn cobs.

Good evening to all my friends on Hive! Today, I’m excited to share with you how to prepare a healthy and nutritious drink. I thought of sharing it on the Amazing Drinks platform. It's been a while since I connected with this platform, so this feels like a fresh new experience for me. Plus, it’s the first time I’m preparing this drink, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious!

This corn-based beverage is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, making it both a nutritious and satisfying drink. If you're looking for a refreshing drink on a warm day, this is the perfect choice to cool you down. Additionally, it helps keep your body cool and aids digestion.

So, let's dive into how I prepared this refreshing and healthy drink!

Required Ingredients...

🍀 1 cup fresh young corn kernels (baby corn)
🍀 3/4 cup of coconut milk.
🍀 1 cup of water.
🍀 1 1/2 tablespoon of sugar.
🍀 A pinch of salt.

Method of making....

                                                1 Step.

First, take a young corn cob. Removing the kernels by hand can take some time, so instead, use a knife to cut off about kernels at a time directly from the cob. Collect them in a bowl.

                                               2 Step.

Next, take a blender and add the corn kernels to the blender cup. Then, add one cup of water. Blend the mixture well until it becomes smooth.

                                              3 Step.

Next, take the well-blended corn mixture and strain it through a sieve into a bowl. This will separate the liquid from any remaining solid particles.

Next, place the blended corn mixture on the stove over low heat and continue stirring consistently. While stirring, gradually add the coconut milk and mix well. Keep stirring to ensure the mixture is smooth and combined.

                                                 5 Step.

At the same time, add a pinch of salt and 1 ½ to 2 tablespoons of sugar, and continue stirring without stopping. Once the mixture reaches a smooth and thick liquid consistency, remove it from the heat.

So, we’ve finished preparing this corn drink, and it smells amazing! You can easily adjust the recipe based on your taste preferences. Since we added coconut milk, it has a creamy texture. If you're looking for a healthy and flavorful beverage, this is perfect, especially for vegetarians. It’s best enjoyed warm because if left to cool, the liquid thickens and the texture changes.
