Cuando era pequeña siempre visitábamos a mi abuela a un pueblito que queda a un hora de mi casa, mi hermano y yo siempre nos gustaba ir, ya que mi abuela preparaba una bebida especial,cuando le preguntábamos de que estaba hecha esa bebida tan sabrosa , nunca nos decía, ella sabía que no nos gustaba auyama. Con razón no nos decía, al pasar el tiempo ,fue que descubrimos de que la hacía.

When I was little we always visited my grandmother to a small town that is an hour away from my house, my brother and I always liked to go, because my grandmother prepared a special drink, when we asked her what that tasty drink was made of, she never told us, she knew that we did not like pumpkin. No wonder she didn't tell us, as time went by, we found out what she made it out of.
Ingredientes que se necesitan para la preparación de la chicha cremosa:
- 500 gramos de auyama.
- 700 ml de agua.
- 2 cucharadas de vainillas.
- 300 gramos de leche.
- 150 gramos de azúcar.
Ingredients needed for the preparation of the creamy chicha:
- 500 grams of auyama.
- 700 ml of water.
- 2 spoonfuls of vanilla beans.
- 300 grams of milk.
- 150 grams of sugar.
Procedimiento para la preparación de la deliciosa bebida:
- Picar la auyama con un cuchillo y quitar la concha,lavar con bastante agua .
- Colocar los trocitos en una olla con agua, en la cocina para sancochar la auyama. Cuando veamos que está lista ,bajamos de la candela y esperamos a que se enfríe para poder licuar.
Procedure for the preparation of the delicious drink:
- Chop the pumpkin with a knife and remove the shell, wash with plenty of water.
- Place the pieces in a pot with water on the stove to boil the pumpkin. When we see that it is ready, we lower the candle and wait for it to cool down to be able to blend.
- Agrega en la licuadora la auyama sancochada, el agua , el azúcar , la leche , la vainilla y licuar.
- Servir en un vaso, agrega hielo o frío y disfrutar de la deliciosa bebida.
- Add the parboiled pumpkin, water, sugar, milk and vanilla in a blender and blend.
- Serve in a glass, add ice or cold and enjoy the delicious drink.
