Make delicious and odorless Aloe Vera ice.

in Amazing Drinks10 days ago

I have a lot of aloe vera in my yard. Aloe vera has many functions not only to nourish hair, reduce hair loss and use of masks but also can be useful for health such as stomach acid or Magh and hemorrhoids (lumps around the anus) and the use of aloe vera for all of that I have proven myself even though the process is very long for months but because of routine use the benefits obtained will also be visible.

But unfortunately because this aloe vera has a drawback, namely its slimy and soft texture so that many people do not like to consume it or use it for beauty benefits including my own husband who has a history of stomach ulcers and stomach acid so I have to rack my brain to make this aloe vera not have disgusting mucus or make its texture unpopular. And I make this aloe vera into ice that has a fresh taste, sweetness that is not excessive and the aloe vera flavor that disappears but not with the benefits it has and I quite often make this recipe because aloe vera is very easy to cultivate.

The ingredients to make this Aloe Vera ice are:

1. 2 pieces of Aloe Vera stems (the amount of aloe vera depends on the size of the Aloe Vera. If the aloe vera is bigger than mine, then 1 aloe vera stem is more than enough

2. Jelly powder (the jelly powder I use is colorless jelly powder but has a young coconut flavor so that by using this the smell of aloe vera and its texture can be disguised and in this recipe I only use ½ tablespoon of this Jelly powder just so that the water thickens a little and does not harden like pudding and it also tastes good later.

3. Ice cubes (optional, use only if you want, or you can put it in the refrigerator first.)

4. Plain yogurt according to taste

5. 1 sachet of sweetened condensed milk with chocolate flavor or any flavor

6. Water I use 1 glass of water for the process of cooking the jelly powder and aloe vera later.

How to make this ice:

1. Wash the Aloe vera stem thoroughly then peel the aloe vera skin and take the aloe vera flesh, cut it into cubes to make it look more aesthetic, then put it in a pan

2. The next step is to take the jelly powder and mix it into a pan that already contains the aloe vera flesh

3. Then I put water in the pan and stir it until smooth so that the jelly powder does not clump because of the aloe vera mucus.

4. The next process is to cook the ingredients until boiling and cook over medium heat tending to low. After boiling, let it cool

5. After waiting for the aloe vera to cool, the next step is to put the chocolate milk into the glass first

6. then I put ice cubes in it

7. and the next thing is to put all the cold and slightly thickened aloe vera jelly

8. and the last step is to mix yogurt into it.

9. Aloe Vera Ice is ready to be enjoyed.

I will describe the taste of this aloe vera ice because in this recipe there is no added sugar and the sweet taste is only obtained from condensed milk and yogurt so the sweet taste is very light, the addition of ice makes the freshness of this ice even greater and the shape of the aloe vera although not lost but the slightly awkward taste or smell of the aloe vera is no longer there because it has mixed with the pudding powder and blends with the fresh taste of yogurt so that those of you who are afraid to start consuming this aloe vera will be cured with the recipe I made and you must try it.
Thank you for accepting my recipe. And greetings from Maytom, Indonesia
