Make fruit soup that is warm and served cold.

in Amazing Drinks7 days ago

When I went to Aceh to visit my sister-in-law I found nutmeg syrup by accident and I was curious about how it tasted. So I bought it and when I tasted this syrup there was a sweet taste then when it passed through my throat there was a warm feeling that spread. I wanted to make a drink with nutmeg syrup that was sugar free of course so I made this fruit soup recipe and this is my own original recipe.

The ingredients I prepared to make this fruit soup are

1. 100 grams of jicama

2. Just as much papaya as needed, approximately 100 grams

3. ½ tablespoon chea seeds
4. A little ginger and I use about ½ thumb

4. 2 glasses of water or approximately 300 ML of water

6. 5 tablespoons nutmeg syrup.

7. 7 mint leaves
8. 1 pandan leaf.
9. 1- 2 Kasturi jerusks

And the way I make this fruit soup is:
In making this recipe, every step you take will not be wrong, but everything will affect time management which will shorten our work.

1. The first step I did was clean the ginger and then blend it using the water stated in the recipe

2. Once finished, blend until smooth, then boil until boiling and don't forget to put pandan leaves in it.

3. After it boils, I turn off the stove and leave it for a moment until it warms.

4. While waiting for the ginger boiled water to warm, I peeled the jicama first and cut it into small dice.

5. Likewise with papaya fruit. I don't use all of it because I think it's too much. I only used 1/4 of the papaya even though the papaya was small and when I weighed it it didn't reach 300 grams.

6. I collected the fruits in one container then the next step was to put the chea seeds into the container

7. Then I put mint leaves in it, after that I filtered the ginger water which had been boiled and is now starting to warm. And ignore my filter after the tea filter I was looking for suddenly disappeared.

8. After all the ingredients are added, add Kasturi orange juice

9. After that, stir again until all the fruit is completely submerged

10. Then the final step is that I add the nutmeg syrup. Stir again until smooth and let stand until the fruit soup is completely at room temperature and then ready to put in the refrigerator.

11. 1 hour after putting it in the refrigerator. Fruit soup is ready to be served.

In this recipe, especially in point 10. You may not need to put it in the refrigerator but just put ice cubes in it straight away. However, in the fruit soup recipe that I am currently making, there is no added sugar, the only source of sweetness comes from nutmeg syrup and even then the sweetness is not too strong and there is more of a warm feeling when consumed. So if you add ice cubes to it, you must also add a sweetener such as honey, granulated sugar or stevia sugar. Or other sweeteners so that this original fruit soup can have a balanced taste with the right sweetness, freshness and when it enters our stomachs there is a warm feeling that spreads from the ginger and nutmeg syrup. Oh yes, if you don't have nutmeg syrup, that's no problem because you can increase the amount of ginger a little.
So I enjoy this fruit soup cold, but it is warming and healthy for the body. What do you think. Greetings from maytom, Indonesia

I'm really curious to know how the nutmeg syrup will taste, it sounds delicious! Wow, all these ingredients must be very interesting, all very healthy for the stomach.

The taste of nutmeg syrup is like syrup in general, raspberry, rose, orange and others, it tastes sweet, but the difference is that after it enters the esophagus, there is a warm feeling that spreads @musicandreview
