Hello HIVE friends, how are the weather conditions in your country at the moment. if in my City we are currently experiencing climate change with erratic weather. Right now in my city I am experiencing extreme hot weather, maybe in your country if the weather is 37 degrees Celsius it is normal but not in my city, even though I live in Indonesia which has a tropical climate but 37 degrees Celsius is the weather which is already very hot in my city. However, I am also still grateful for this situation because several areas in Indonesia are currently experiencing earthquakes. Hopefully there are no casualties and material or non-material losses in it, as well as your country, friends.
And when I made this recipe, it was while I was still fasting during the last Ramadan, while today I have entered the fourth day of Eid. This recipe that I made may be healthy for other people, but it's not very healthy for my body and my husband's where we actually can't accept too much intake of cold drinks. However, due to the extremely hot weather, I sometimes want to make my own cold drink, not buying it from outside because I'm afraid there will be additional sweetener besides granulated sugar in it.
And the cold drink I mean is mixed ice, this drink is not only cold but also sweet because I use 2 kinds of sugar in it, namely palm sugar and granulated sugar, not only sweet, this mixed ice is also a little fatty because I use coconut milk in it.
And in order not to be curious, I will share the ingredients needed to make this mixed ice:
1. 1 slice of melon
2. 1 cucumber
3. 100 grams of grass jelly
4. 5 tablespoons of sugar
5. 4 tablespoons of palm sugar
6. 2 packs of 65 ml instant coconut milk
7. 2 liters of ready-to-drink water
How to make :
1. Peel and cut the melon into small pieces according to taste
2. Wash the cucumber and grate it using a cheese grater
3. Wash the grass jelly and coarsely chop the grass jelly
4. Heat the granulated sugar, palm sugar and instant coconut milk with a little water which has been calculated from the 2 liters of water. Cook until the sugar dissolves then remove.
5. Put all the chopped fruit into a large container then pour the coconut milk and sugar that was cooked earlier into the chopped fruit
6. Then mix the water into the container after that stir until smooth then put it in the refrigerator, or you can immediately add ice cubes to the mixed ice.
7. Mixed ice is ready and can be enjoyed.
The mixed ice that I made can be enjoyed for 6-8 glasses, it's a lot and it's easy to make, right? How about you guys?
