Chocolate is an ingredient for desserts, it is also marketed in different presentations to be used as snacks. There are those who love chocolate like me, but there are also people who don't feel comfortable with it.
A hot chocolate is delicious any time you want to enjoy it, especially on rainy days with a delicious bread. As long as we have the ingredients at home everything is wonderful.
Para esta bebida se utilizò:
-50 gramos de chocolate oscuro
-1 taza de agua (la medida de la taza donde se va a servir)
-2 cucharadas de leche en polvo
-1 cucharadita de almidòn de maìz(en Venezuela lo conocemos como Maicena , es su marca comercial)
-Nuez moscada al gusto
For this drink we used
-50 grams of dark chocolate
-1 cup of water (the measure of the cup where it is going to be served)
-2 tablespoons of powdered milk
-1 teaspoon of corn starch (in Venezuela we know it as Maicena, it is its commercial brand name)
-Nutmeg to taste
Sugar was not used, if you like you can add it (for my taste it was not necessary).
In the blender, add the water, the powdered milk and the corn starch. Blend everything very well.
Put it in the pot chosen for cooking.
Once the milk in the pot is a little warm, add the chocolate bar.
Wait for the temperature of the milk to melt the chocolate and stir to finish melting the chocolate.
Once the chocolate is melted, it is left a little more so that the corn starch makes its contribution to let the mixture become a little stronger, that is to say that it takes a little thicker texture. At this boiling point, add the nutmeg and stir the whole mixture.
Let it rest for a while before serving.
At a pleasant temperature, it is ready to taste.
It was delicious, with its creamy touch, plus the touch of nutmeg.
Now for the Christmas days, as a pre-Christmas time, it is very nice to enjoy a delicious hot chocolate. Share and be merry.

Creamy, a bit sweet but bitter, what a unique combination. I often made this drink but without maizena flour. :)

I love the bitterness of chocolate, if the mixture is prepared with cocoa powder I love it too, as this is a bar chocolate, it already brought its sweetness.
