Hoy comparto esta receta de jugo de tamarindo, ideal para disfrutar en época de calor, es muy refrescante y les cuento que es mi preferido. El tamarindo es una fruta exótica; su pulpa está en el interior, y está rodeada de unos hilos que hay que quitar para comerla. Es una magnífica fuente de fibra, vitaminas B, C y E, es depurativo y funciona como laxante, ideal para limpiar el hígado. En muchas recetas, tanto dulces como saladas, pueden incluirlo. Muchas veces la consumo como agua común.
Today I share this tamarind juice recipe, ideal to enjoy in hot weather, it is very refreshing and I tell you that it is my favorite. Tamarind is an exotic fruit; its pulp is inside, and it is surrounded by threads that must be removed to eat it. It is a magnificent source of fiber, vitamins B, C and E, a laxative and works as a depurative, ideal for cleansing the liver. Many recipes, both sweet and savory, can include it. I often consume it as plain water.

150 grs de tamarindo, 01 taza de melado (jarabe) de papelón o panela, 01 litro de agua, hielo.

English:
150 grams of tamarind, 01 cup of molasses (syrup) of paprika or panela, 01 liter of water, ice.

Esta es una receta muy fácil de hacer, pero muy sabrosa y refrescante, lo primero que tenemos que hacer es echar a remojar el tamarindo en medio litro de agua durante toda la noche, eso va a hacer que la pulpa se deprenda facilmente de las semillas.
This is a very easy recipe to make, but very tasty and refreshing, the first thing we have to do is to soak the tamarind in half a liter of water overnight, that will make the pulp to easily detach from the seeds.

Al día siguiente procedemos a preparar el jugo, sacamos la jarra con la pulpa de tamarindo remoja, con la ayuda de un batidor de varilla batimos con rápidez y fuerza para sacar toda la pulpa.

Luego colamos y volvemos a agregar un poco más de agua seguimos batiendo colamos otra vez y con la ayuda de una cuchara presionamos para sacar toda la pulpa, si lo quieres más ligero agregas más agua, agregamos el melado batimos y listo.
Then strain and add a little more water, continue beating, strain again and with the help of a spoon press to remove all the pulp, if you want it lighter add more water, add the honeydew, beat and ready.
