Pandan not only has a fragrance that is no longer in doubt when we process it. But it also has many benefits for our bodies and believe me consuming pandan regularly will eliminate body odor in our bodies, so how do you process this pandan into a herbal drink? Let's follow my recipe.

Hello HIVE friends in this community, the changing seasons make disease outbreaks continue to emerge, especially flu accompanied by fever and joint pain and I have also experienced this for the past few days, but I don't want to rush to go to the doctor, but I use ingredients that are already available in nature, especially those around my house and coincidentally this pandan plant is right behind my house and grows well and consuming warm pandan has been proven to reduce our fever. And there are many ways to consume this pandan and among the many ways I chose a slightly complicated way so that I not only get the benefits but also so that the appearance of my herbal drink looks prettier

According to www.klikdokter.com Pandan has many benefits including:

  1. Relieves fever
  2. Reduces pain
  3. Controls blood pressure
  4. Overcomes stomach cramps
  5. Detoxifies the body
  6. Helps overcome insomnia
  7. Increases appetite
  8. Relieves rheumatic pain
  9. Reduces the risk of cancer
  10. And rich in nutrients.

With so many benefits, this plant that is only looked down upon, now I am sure you will be able to consider it in your herbal drink. And now to make this herbal drink I use the following ingredients
1. Pandan to taste, approximately 7-11 pandan leaves

2. Chea seeds I use ½ tablespoon

3. 400 ML water

4. 2-4 pieces of Kasturi Orange depending on the size of the orange

5. Granulated sugar (optional can be replaced with honey or not used at all)

And the way I make it is:
1. I take pandan and I wash it clean until between the pandan leaves and after it is really clean then I cut it into several pieces and put it in a blender. And to cut the pandan you can use a knife or just use your hands

2. After that, mix water into the blender then blend until smooth

3. After blending then I strain and throw the dregs into your plants so that it becomes natural fertilizer

4. After that, mix granulated sugar into the pan that has the pandan water available

5. The next step is I cook the pandan water until it boils, but when the water starts to boil a little I put the chea seeds into it then stir until smooth and the water boils by itself.

6. Waiting for the water to boil I prepare the Kasturi orange that I have previously washed then I cut it in half without having to squeeze the water then I put it in a glass

7. After the pandan water boils, lift it and you can pour it into the glass.

8. The pandan water can be consumed while it is warm.

The taste produced by this drink is a little sour and fresh, if you compare the sour taste produced by lemon and this Kasturi orange, then the taste will be much more sour than lemon. This Kasturi orange has a fresh taste that is slightly sour and fragrant. Then from the taste of this drink, besides being sour, it is also sweet because we mix granulated sugar into it. Oh yes, it would be better if you use honey and mix it when the pandan water is warm, but because my honey stock is still empty, I only use granulated sugar. So overall the taste of this pandan drink is sweet, fresh and slightly fragrant but not too pungent. And when this drink touches the throat, there is a warm feeling and like there is mucus that will come out. Try this drink when you are not feeling well. Greetings from Tomi diwirja, Indonesia
