The opportunity for gaming on Hive is unlimited. There are no other blockchains that boast free transactions to their players. Hive can do this. We are a free use blockchain with no barriers. Imagine the potential for game creators that would like to come here and create the next AAA blue chip gaming platform? They can do this with hive. In an interview we did with @blocktrades last year he was telling us that they have been working on scalability for hive in the long term. They are preparing for a massive ramp up of new users in the next ten years. Exciting.
Hive currently sports the most popular game in the blockchain space, spinterlands.com, which has recently been making deals with Warner Bros Music, and has been featured on lots of prominent media outlets discussing future plans and preparations.
Currently the potential for gaming on hive is incredible, and we should see more and more adoption by game companies in the coming years.
That being said there has been a recent growth in gamefi projects pop up here and there over the course of the last year. Not only gamefi projects but people that have amassed significant wealth through investment in blockchain games on hive. It's not something that's happening in the current, however it's something that will be slowly dripping into the hive space over the next few years. Next bull season we may see hive recognised not for its blogging, but for its gaming space. Time will tell.
The Future of Earning Potential: Innovations and Developments
The future is exciting for Hive. We are still early. Hive, like no other blockchain out there (apart from Bitcoin) has no owner. If someone tries to regulate us then who would they contact? There are no owners of our Blockchain to come to a consensus with. We are a true trustless community.
The world doesn't see why this is needed yet. As people, the powerful and the greedy cling to centralisation because it's where the money is, people will eventually get tired of being told what not to say, and then eventually faceless arbitrars of truth taking the accounts away for not towing the line. Eventually, this will come to a tipping point.
When it does Hive will be at the forefront of this and we will see a massive influx of users. The real money will be made when people don't come purely for financial reasons, but come to connect and to share. Right now hive suffers from the problem that everyone is out to get something, we are all financial orientated. There is nothing wrong with being here for the fianance of course, but right now there is no-one really to sell to since we are mostly all in it for the same reasons, but again, this will change after people start coming here for totally different and fun and unusual reasons.
Hive has so much earning potential and we want to be at the forefront of that.

I am on hive mainly because of Splinterlands. Gaming is the best when we own assets and able to trade for something in physical value.
