BRO Highlights | (15th) Weekly Edition

In this post, we will be giving you some posts curated by @brofi that caught our attention. We are not quantity but quality based humour, weird knowledge, diversity, project updates and we don't mind lengthy posts at all, however, we are looking for more than just words.

You earn the BRO curation by holding bro, the more you have, the more you get. Still, we look out for quality and not shit posts. Holding Bro doesn't guarantee you votes if you do not give quality material. Without further delay, in no particular order, here are some posts that caught our eye over the past week:

Aging: The Art Of Slowing Down by @justfavour

Aging is a natural part of life. As we grow, our body starts to get weak and unable to do the things we once enjoyed. We lose skills that we were once good with; that's why people lose skills like football skills. Growing up, during my high school days, I loved football and was good at it. I played as a winger and would often represent my school in inter-school competitions. However, after I graduated from high school, it seemed as though my football skills magically vanished. Now, when I try to play football in the neighborhood, I'm unable to move with the ball like I used to. Similarly, it is the same with gaming skills. I was never a big-time gamer, I often read posts and watch reels on Instagram where people discuss how age affects their gaming skills. Aging is a natural part of life, and losing these skills is inevitable.

Cine TV Community Spotlight #18 by @cinetv

...it’s all simple. At the end of every week, we spotlight works by authors based on the content, originality, style, and word count. It is not a contest but just our way of creating exposure for the works we enjoyed throughout the week and boosting exceptionally written content by our authors. Simply put, give it your best and have fun while at it, and then we showcase your work here.

The flare irritates me! by @ekavieka

After losing my Canon camera and buying this used Olympus OMD camera, I am facing a few problems already. The first one is the on and off button on my camera malfunctioned, and I needed to take out the battery from my camera to shut it off. I really need to take the camera to a camera repair shop to get it fixed, but the problem is that I need to go to the city to find a recommended camera repair shop. And with my previous experience with my Canon camera it will not be easy, and also with a lesser known brand like my Olympus Omd camera then it will be another story.

Why do I prefer Hive Blockchain for my blog Post-to-Earn, and my writing in general? by @heruvim1978

Now, that the hook was activated, let's go into the statistics and fancy numbers. I have 240 followers on Hive, compared with more than 1000 on Publish0x and 26 on Grill. Yet, more than x50 times in crypto rewards, month after month, made Hive one of the three projects that can potentially return my wages equivalent, consistently, letting me achieve financial freedom in the next 5, maybe 7 years. I mean, I got these 3 projects with some doable targets, each of them potentially returning enough monthly to receive three times my actual wage, to enjoy a delectable early retirement. (I am not secretive, one is Hive - link here, one is Across protocol as liquidity provider - link here, and the third is a portfolio of shares bringing dividends, focused on the UK mostly - link here).

Markets Will Market by @dbooster

But I'm watching now. As I imagine many of you are. So if there is a second pump up to the 0.6 range as there was last time, I won't miss it. Big if? Maybe. But with the Chinese New Year coming, I wouldn't be surprised.
If you missed my last post about it, this will be the year of the snake, by the way. In Japan it already is the year of the snake, but China follows the traditional calendar for their version of the animal zodiac. I think in the West the snake has a bit of a sinister image, probably due to its role as a villain in the Adam and Eve myth. But in the East, the snake is looked at in a more positive light.

Exploring the Place in Molave's Plaza by @vinzie1

It was almost night when I came here and there were a couple of people that went here, too. There were students that are sitting in another bench and talking something, there are children with the parents that are playing in a mini playground at one corner of the plaza, some were playing basketball and stuffs, and there are people that are doing jogging around the plaza.
