Mom makes this experimental recipe for me !!

Long before today I got a visit to my friend’s place. Actually her mom invited me to taste her homemade yummy dishes as she is a great cook. Aunty made a variety of delicious and most importantly uncommon deshi food for us. Among all of this one dish that I haven’t yet forgotten and whose taste is still I feel is “ Acrid small fish”. It has a tangy kinda taste but I just loved it. One of the main ingredients to prepare this recipe is “fresh green olive”. Today’s morning when I was having breakfast that thing came across my mind. So I told my mom to make this for me and she did it. I’ll be glad to share this with you so let’s get started. This is how it looks like

Ingredients

• Small freshwater fish ( swamp barb)
• Green olive
• Ginger paste
• Garlic paste
• Cumin paste
• Red chili powder
• Turmeric powder
• Coriander powder
• Salt
• Cooking oil
• Green chili
• Fresh coriander

Making process

First of all take a pan and put some cooking oil and let it heat. Put a cup of sliced onion into it and cook until it turns golden brown.

Now add here ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin seed paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt to taste. Cook these for a minute.

After that put all the fish here and mixed it with spices. Before adding make sure that they are properly cleaned. You have to put fresh fish here not the fried one. Mixed all and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Now time for adding green olive into this. Cut a olive into 4 pieces and washed it well. Then put it into spices and mixed it with a spatula. Pour a dash of water into it and slowly cooked for few minutes.
Now add a dash of water according to your need. Boil all these for few minutes. After that add some green chili of extra flavour and lid the pan. When it turns according to your preference add some fresh coriander here and lid the pan for spred fragrance.
