This is one of those retro movies you seriously can't get tired of watching, and this due to how amazing the plot was made, which is Impeccable. The director of this movie, Norman Jewison is a Canadian director who made his career in Hollywood and I must say he did had a wonderful career in Hollywood. Norman Jewison's movies is a gem full of masterpiece and great films. In his forty-year career, Jewison has left an indelible mark on the seventh art. But if we all know the 60s and 70s, it is true that his career in the 80s and especially the 90s, is less known and less strong and yet, it deserves our interest just as much.

Reviews: Adorable! That's what i would use to describe this movie. With "Only You", the Canadian director decided to embark on a romantic comedy and above all he decided to fully assume the idea of making a romantic comedy. If i had to start from somewhere, "Only You", is first of all a very good script. A film which brings together all the codes and the romantic comedy par excellence. The film is a touch of the improbable, even of mysticism, with this name story that appears in strange circumstances. "Only You" is an escape from everyday life, it's a journey in search of a supposedly loved one, because fate has decided so. But through this journey, it is also the discovery of care itself.

With this film Norman Jewison, dares a grain of madness, he dares to assume the genre of his film and he finally offers us a model of romantic comedy. His film is sparkling, rhythmic, enchanting and its road movie looks through Italy and its dream settings, are the little icing on the cake. Yes, Norman Jewison particularly emphasizes the fairy tale side of Italy, which totally disorientates me in some way, which even in addition supports more of the romantic side of his film.

Overall, this is one film I bet you are going to love if you haven't watch it. Is the kind of romantic comedy we see too little of. It's a film that dares to be totally romantic, and even when it goes too far, it's still adorable.
