The Biggest Fruit Market in Bangladesh.

in BDCommunity3 years ago

Badamtali is a big market for fruits. Dhaka's largest wholesale fruit market. Old Dhaka's Badamtali and Wiseghat Fruit Warehouses have been famous for centuries for their local and foreign fruits. Every day truckload of local fruits comes here from different districts of the country. The imported fruit comes from India, Pakistan, Bhutan, China, Dubai, Australia and America. The storekeepers here supply almost all the fruits of the people of the country including the capital.

The country's largest fruit trading wholesale warehouse could be shifted from Badamtali in Old Dhaka. In this case, the list of traders' choice is Jatrabari and Mohammadpur's Bochila. It is learned that there are plans to rehabilitate the traders in either of these two places.

It's a really vast market with varieties of fruits. I'd love to visit this kinda market but I'll have to be with a local before I get lost in the crowd.
