Progress is something we all desire in every aspect of our lives. What we sometimes fail to acknowledge is that progress maybe slow.
Progress is the movement towards a refined, improved, or otherwise desired state.

We may have a goal in mind, something we are pursuing with so much intensity. It may sometimes look like we're doing all we can and nothing is adding to it, but over time we realize that all those many years of hard work will begin to pay off.
One thing about progress is sometimes we may not notice that our small steps are beginning to materialize into something significant. We sometimes need other people to show us the progress we have made so far.
I started my crochet business less than a year ago. The initial goal when I started was to just make 1 single outfit. After making that 1 outfit I found that I enjoyed it so much and I did not want to stop.
So I started investing my time and resources into it. Sometimes I feel like I am not moving forward despite the effort I put in, but it is at that moment that someone enters my DM and tells me how much they appreciate my work.
It is easy to want to give up when things seem to be moving slow, mostly because we do not recognize the progress when it's slow. However, it is at that moment that we need to remain focused, keep our eyes on the price.
Sometimes, we do not notice our progressive growth because we keep comparing our growth to other people's growth, forgetting that they were once at the beginner's stage.
The most important thing is to keep going, be consistent, be persistent. If you consistently take small steps it's only a matter of time before you go far.
Someone who works out 10mins per day for the next 6 months will get better results than someone who does 1hr per day for only one month.
The progress is more important than the pace at which you succeed. It doesn't matter how fast or how slow, progress is progress regardless. Keep moving.

YES! I tell my clients to remember the story of the tortoise and the hare - slow and steady wins the race.
Baby steps will always get you want to go IF you are taking steps every single day and moving forward.
