Validation and social media pity has become the order of the day now. A lot of people crave the desire to share virtually every detail of them for mere likes and approval from people they do not know.
Someone runs into a little problem and the first thing that comes to their mind is to make a social media post and wail.
I am not ruling out the place of seeking counsel, advice or help, even the bible says that "in the multitude of counselors there is safety".
Keyword: counselor
Because not everyone giving advice or saying anything is a counselor
So what do you do when you are in trouble?
James. 5:13
Is anyone afflicted(challenged, in trouble, attacked, oppressed, confused, in wahala, overwhelmed, etc), LET HIM PRAY
Why?
James. 5:16 Amplified version
… The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].```
It is important to note that if you pray when only when you are in trouble, you are in trouble already.
Prayerlessness has robbed many of us of our inheritance in Christ. My Pastor, Lawrence Chinatu said, "if you think praying is difficult, go and check the consequences of prayerlessness."
There are many open doors available for you, but there are many adversaries. If you tell humans about your problems, the best you can get is sympathy. Prayers in faith most definitely produces results, God answers prayers, so when you are in trouble, PRAY.
