You should, and if people really want to improve then they'll take it positively; they'll at least try again with a different and "better" approach, maybe just to gain a bit more knowledge or a few more followers.
We all have our own ways of posting/writing and creating content; some will like it and leave a vote or comment, and some will suggest a different method. No is one right here; yet, not one's wrong either.
What we have to do is listen to both sides, see it from the other person's perspective; experiment a little bit, and maybe try to broaden our horizons.
