A very beautiful article. I'd suggest, there are more sanctuaries of the mind than the actual ones. Memories can be a sanctuary, if you feel sad or stressed. Music is a big one. Every time, I feel overwhelmed, I put my "relax" playlist on and I can calm down. And you are right. Another person can be a sanctuary as well.
