War o war,where has thou taken thine lover to?
It been a lonely nights with no one to hold
Its feeling high but still low
Its for you to have him whisper to your ears that he loves you
And you whispering into his ears too
There comes a promise of life in time of love
A kiss and a promise for more
As you let him go painfully, and slowly with the thought of seeing him soon
While your inside is longing and dying from wanting to see him
You watch him go with your eyes full of tears
Standing alone with hopes and expectations
It like putting water into a basket
It like sending a letter with an upside down stamp in agony
To a lover so far away in a distant town
You spend days kneeling to pray for him
And with pain she mean every word she said
But for her,it grows her love easily
Days go by
No mail for days, weeks,and months
You wait for some words to get across to you
To hear that he's doing well
Suddenly you were given a letter
To open it with a smile
Yes he's well, he replies that he misses you too
And with so much love,you want to know more
Weeks were like months
Months became years
Waiting for the day you will have him in your arm
The day you have no more fears
Days goes by slowly,how many have gone
Yes loving a soldier brings pain and fear
Lonely years,sadness in your heart
Not knowing when you will come back
Is he coming back alive or dead?
Is it worth the while ?
its worth the while when the battle is won
Remember he thinks of you everyday
But he can't stop thinking of you
He is as well unhappy because he can't reach to you
So far away from your sight
Not knowing how you are faring
Its indeed a high price to pay,when loving a soldier.
