────────────◈◉◈────────────
The strongest magic lies in the harmony between the elements, wielded by those who understand their power.

────────────◈◉◈────────────
Runemancer Florre is a powerful unit from the Earth Element. She combines both magic and ranged attacks making her a menace on the battlefield. The mixed damage makes her hard to counter with a few units. With her high health and balanced speed, she can adapt to many situations in Splinterlands battles despite her lack of abilities.
Runemancer Florre can deliver consistent damage regardless of her position as long as she's not a frontline. She is most effective in battles where her dual attack type can shine without restriction such as Fog of War or Explosive Weaponry. Her presence ensures that your lineup has both range and magic power making it hard for your enemies to counter your lineup easily.
Lore
The first time Florre encountered the Chaos Legion was on her homeworld, Folia, in the Forest of Flames. The forest was a beautiful yet dangerous place. Its fire-scorched trees were burned and blackened. Their leaves smoldered with glowing embers. Pools of bubbling magma and mud pots could be lethal to any who stumbled into them or ventured too close.
As Florre ventured deeper into the forest, gathering reagents for the healers of her village, the clank of metal and rough tone of angry voices broke the silence. Through the trees, three warriors in dark armor and black cloaks tromped among the flora. Ahead of them, a pair of wild elves staggered along, their wrists bound by rusty iron chains and manacles. As she stared in horror, a warrior raised a whip and lashed one elf across the back. He staggered and fell to his knees. When the second elf bent to help him, the warrior whipped him, too.

Strengths & Weaknesses
Runemancer Florre is strong because of her dual attack types. She brings both magic and ranged attacks to the battle which is hard to defend. Unlike Melee and Range that can be defended by Shield, a mix of Range and Magic means your unit needs to have both Shield and Void for it to reduce both attacks coming from Runemancer Florre. Her high health and decent speed ensure she can survive while contributing consistent damage throughout the battle. |
Runemancer Florre's biggest weakness is her lack of armor which makes her vulnerable to high damage attacks. Her ranged attack cannot be used in the front position unless specific rule sets are in play, specifically, Close Range rule set. Additionally, her 13 mana cost can be limiting in low mana battles. Lastly, the lack of abilities, while can be a positive in some rule sets, can also be a negative in most. |
When To Use
Close Range |
Runemancer Florre is very effective because this rule set allows her to use her ranged attack from the first position which is normally not allowed. This also lets her act as a durable frontline tank.
Unprotected |
This rule set benefits Runemancer Florre since she does not have and does not rely on armor. Her health pool remains her strongest asset in terms of defense so she is not negatively affected by this rule set. Not only that, your enemies also won't have any armor which means your range attack are free to attack their health as it pleases.
Aimless |
The Scattershot ability works well with both of her attack types. This allows her to hit multiple targets unpredictably disrupting enemy strategies. For both good and bad reasons, this rule set may also allow her to avoid enemy's Taunt strategies which gives you a chance to hit their Tank Heal and Triage units.
When Not To Use
Equalizer |
Runemancer Florre's high health can be a disadvantage in this rule set. Enemies gain the same health advantage while you spend 13 mana to use Runemancer Florre which can feel inefficient if you're not fighting on 99 mana.
Counterspell |
This rule set is bad for Runemancer Florre because a part of her damage relies on magic attack. The reflected damage from Magic Reflect can quickly reduce her health.
Fire and Regret |
Same with Counterspell rule set, Runemancer Florre's ranged attack makes her susceptible to Return Fire damage. This rule set may be more problematic if your enemy has Amplify in their team.

With high damage coming from Runemancer Florre and Lord Thanalor, this battle was a breeze. I may have lost if the rule set Close Range is not in motion which allowed my Runemancer Florre to attack from the front. With that rule set on the board, my high damage is enough to overcome the difference in numbers very easily.
Final Thoughts
Runemancer Florre is a Legendary Earth Element unit that brings a hard to counter her dual attack style with your team. While the expensive rental and buying price may turn you off, the overwhelming stats that this unit have is enough for you to consider her in any lineup you have.
While I did not include it, Runemancer Florre is also one of the best cards in the game for Back to Basics rule set which removes all unit's abilities. Since she doesn't have any abilities to start with, she's one of the best units to use in there which a lot of units struggle to fit in.
A common well known combo, if you want to main Runemancer Florre in almost all of your games, is to rent or buy a summoner named, "Fernheart". This summoner can give your team Close Range which allows your range units to attack from the front. This way, you don't need to rely on the rule set with the same name to use Runemancer Florre's full potential.
