Confusion!!!

I've been thinking about it for a while and am confused about it, so I'm sharing with you guys: I have a friend in Nepal who is a nice guy, and he introduced me to one of his friends who works as a soldier for the Nepalese government. My Nepali friend told me that his friend has a 10-day holiday and has never traveled outside of Nepal before, and he wants to visit Bangladesh. Can I guide him when he comes? Of course, I told him, why not!! He then introduced me to his army buddies. We spoke about why he wanted to travel for a long time, how long he'll going to stay?, what places does he genuinely wish to go?, and all sorts of things.

Then he told me something that made me nervous: he is not going to use his army identification for the visa, rather he would show them that he works in a store and is traveling to Bangladesh for a vacation. The first thing that comes to mind is that this is a crime since he intends to conceal his true identity. Second, if he gets the visa and comes to Bangladesh, should I guide him or not? Third, and most importantly, if he comes and somehow Bangladesh immigration reveals his genuine identity, what would happen to him?

These are the thoughts that have been running through my mind for the past two hours. I had already cautioned him not to make this type of error, and that he should discuss it with his superior commander. Also, remind him that as you are a military person you should not provide false information in order to obtain a visa. Then I began searching the internet for the constitution of the Nepali Military, and eventually discovered one. It is a 95-page army act that was modified in 2006. According to Acts of Conduct 42 and 55, it is a serious violation if someone willfully uses a fake identity or leaves his nation without permission. I've included some photos here; you can also find them on the internet.

I immediately notify my Nepali friend and await his reaction. After that, I shared everything I found on the internet with him and advised him to chat with his friend about it. I am happy to help him, but I am scared that if he comes here with a false pretense, not only will he be in trouble, but so will I, so please advise him to take his time and apply for the visa using his actual identity.

You did the right thing bhai. Without actual identify it's risky for both you and him.

I had to, no other choice, I am too afraid to face the coincidences.
