The monstrous terror of violence attacks humanity through grenade attacks.

Incumbent Prime Minister and then Leader of the Opposition Sheikh Hasina was attacked. Awami League President Sheikh Hasina was the victim of terror when she came to protest against terrorism at a rally on the street in front of the central office on Bangabandhu Avenue.
In that incident, the party leaders and activists made human armor and saved President Sheikh Hasina, but a total of 23 leaders and activists including Awami League Women's Affairs Secretary and wife of late President Zillur Rahman Ivy Rahman lost their lives due to grenade attack. The verdict in the trial of the grenade attack proved the involvement of the ministers and officials of the then ruling BNP coalition government. The attack was carried out with the direct help of that government.
