It feels great to stay beside your friends when they are going through some shitty times, which could be due to problems in the family, education, finances, and many more. Whether you can solve the problem or not, try to stay beside them, and hear them out. Even if we can't solve someone else's problems, it gives them support and makes the whole thing easier to figure out a possible outcome. We all know these, why again?

It's getting morning and I am still awake, it's a regular thing. So during midnight, a friend called me, does this regularly whenever he feels low. Today, it was different, talked to me about something that he had been stressing out about the whole day. Seeing his condition I laughed in the beginning and then realized he wasn't in the suitable mood to take that. I talked for 10 minutes and the best advice was for him to go to sleep. I told him to call me in the morning and we would figure out a suitable solution.

So the thing is, he is taking stress on a tiny thing, not worth the stress he is taking for. What's the weight of your mobile phone that you are holding? Mine is around 200 grams, and I can hold on to it for a long time without even realizing it. It may start troubling me after a certain period, my hands may start to feel pain, might lose the energy to keep holding onto that, and we may feel that the same weight is way heavier than we were feeling before. It's always the same for many things, even with things that go around our life.

Often we keep stressing ourselves for tiny things, and when we keep going over that again and again, it starts getting heavy, after a moment we can't bear it anymore and end up taking the wrong step. That's what my friend was facing. He was sitting on that issue for the whole day and made it way more complicated in his mind that it should have not been made so complicated. Told him to sleep so that he can start anew and think over that with a fresh mind, would guide him through that.

Faced this multiple times, the last time it happened before my viva exam. I was too nervous and was just getting tense about what the examiner was going to ask. Will I be able to answer them properly or ruin my image? Out of tension, I was taking an ultra-level serious preparation, was going through all the hard lessons, and so much workload I was taking. In the end, it was just the basics to answer, as my head was piled with unnecessary stress about the outcome. I messed up with the basics too out of nervousness. That's what happens when we stress ourselves more than the requirements.

So always take a break from your unwanted situations instead of piling yourselves underneath them. It helps, I have learned it the hard way.

true, not all problems have the same weight, some are very heavy and some are very light which should not be taken too much care, yet we do.

When things are complicated a break can help us to go in a different direction for a suitable solution. Often we mess up at this point and end up creating more chaos.
