After the Democrats won, everyone rejoiced with much enthusiasm yet I was wondering something else. You see, the wife of the vice president of the US is called "the second lady" — a random trivia I learned a few weeks ago. Now that Kamala, a woman, is supposed to be the next vice president and the first woman ever in that position, I had to look it up whether her husband will be any "second" something. I wasn't very optimistic about it, you know, no woman had ever held that title so there could be no title for her spouse as well. And... what do you know? There is!
Kamala's husband Doug Emhoff is the first "second gentleman of the US"! I don't know about you but this felt very empowering to me. :)
That's an interesting thought :) You are correct of course. You see until Dec 14, we have to keep it tight and focus on other stuff. As there will be plenty of people out there who will try to provoke. They will fail of course but they will try.
I see what you mean. People already raised questions about her time as a prosecutor. There's also some talk around her speech anent Israel. Let's see where things go.
