I have watched people act up and betray each other over the years
You can sacrifice your whole existence to someone and still, they will betray you
They would snitch on you and pretend while showing others how to portray you
Humans always forget and that has never left my mind
I learnt from how everyone behaved when we lost my dad
It's easier for them to forget the years you have sustained them
They live for the highest bidders and never about loyalty
It's the person with the best thing to offer they go with...that sustainability
Be careful of those whose words betray them while faking loyalty to you
You sometimes see who people are with your eyes closed
We see more with closed eyes and observant mind
Be careful of those who won't defend you when others drag you
But would jump at every opportunity to drag you to filth and gag you
Be careful of those who promise their love would last longer than the weekend
If you look closely enough, you will see the heart is indeed wicked
Sometimes nothing is ever enough but that's okay
It's okay not to be okay but ask yourself, why do you do what you do?
For applause or just because that's who you are?
Frustrating, I agree but I have learned to look beyond the applause and noise
When people criticize you, learn to look inward
When they spring up to sing of your praises, look outward
The person that agrees with everything you say sometimes is ready to skin you
You can't slit people open to see the true content of their intention
You have been locked in some people's mind as in with detention
All the good you have ever done for them has gone out from retention
Live within your means, help when you can without praise, that's contention
It's easier to mistake your good intentions for the wrong ones with the mention
Ungrateful people would always be ungrateful no matter what you do
They would cry blood and sweat about how they appreciate you
But just talk a walk to that bend and you see them wipe their face and smile
Humans are the most complex you'd ever find within the radius and mile
Watch people's characters before you feed your soul with their contents
Be careful and learn to give as much attention to yourself too because you deserve it
Be careful and watch out for yourself because in the end, you are all you've got
You can give your best to people and still never enough
Do what you can, have good reasons for it and move on
In all you do, don't ever forget to do good and be you...
Because that's the whole essence of life...being you and doing your bit
Some will appreciate, most won't...but focus on those who do

Humans are funny. I have seen the best and the worst of people. You can only do your best and not worry about anything else. You can't impress them too much neither can you overlook not helping when you can. Follow your heart, do good and live your life. Peace and love.
This is it. The very deep words that explains this. It might never be enough. You can only do your best, follow your heart. Humans are insatiable.
You can never satisfy humans. You can only do what you can do and satisfy your conscience. When you see those who have the tendency to be selfish and greedy, don't let them use you. Find those who genuinely need help and as you said, follow your heart.
Don't let them use you and follow your heart. I love that..do what you can. Recognize users and channel more energy to those who truly need help.
Humans have a kind of short term memory I find it hard to describe. Within a short period they stop benefitting from someone, the are already seeking for a replacement.
More worrisome is if the cause of the withdrawal of those benefits was as a result of a misfortune, they may not bother to know how their erstwhile benefactor is doing.
You absolutely nailed it. Humans are fueled by what they can get. I got to know about them when dad passed away. I saw people for who they truly are and that gave me wisdom in dealing with people. I don't get fooled by things. I just follow my heart.

It is true that the way we see that life is passing by very quickly and there must be some special people who help us a lot during our bad times and stand for us. take and do many more things for us but we never thank them in life so we do it very wrong. help and because of them our life is easy then we must thank them.

Very true my friend. I have seen the best and the worst of humans. We can only do what we can do. We shouldn't seek to impress else we might be disappointed especially with how people have unrealistic expectations sometimes. That's life.
Certainly it is like that my friend, as you get older you just have to cultivate your circle and let certain people into your life, I mean we can be honest, real and sincere but at the same time know that not everyone will be sitting at the same table. you have to know who to be with and who not to be with, unfortunately that's how it is ♥

Unfortunately, we never can tell the person who will betray us and the one who will stand by us. Above all, we should make God our best friend and that way, life will be soft for us
God above all because when we focus on God, we can be very sure that we won't have to seek for approval from anyone who doesn't appreciate our good deeds. We do what God lays in our hearts and move on regardless.

Authenticity in people is difficult to achieve, let me explain, sincere people are taken in the BAD way, some even distance themselves, I don't understand why people don't accept NO for an answer or being told the truth face to face, I am a very sincere person, I have few friends for this reason, but I do NOT plan to change, an honest person represents with confidence, something that is not easily found in today's world
One of the things I really fear so much is something called betrayal because when it happens, it makes trust that has took years to build to suddenly get destroyed and difficult to build again and most of the time I have come to discover one of the ways that affects a lot of people that leads to betrayal is been self centered
