I have been absent for more than a year and not write in the Hive community, which means that I have been absent for a long time here, this is due to the influence of my studies that I cannot leave.
This job is very important to me because starting in early 2020 I have finished bachelor's degree. Yesterday, to be precise, at the end of 2021, even though in a pandemic situation I had graduated from graduation even though I had to comply with all health protocols implemented by our government, in the end I have succeeded.
I really miss being on this Hive because being here can educate the brain by doing one of the rituals such as writing and reading.
Now that I have returned to this stage, as a new beginning, I still feel confused about what to write, but I still try to write something that I consider important in researching and glancing at this nature.
There are still many written objects in nature, although some people ignore one of God's small and beautiful creatures who are also useful for humans and other animals.
One of them is the salt water plant or the ancients labeled it a special plant that grows on every beach, this is neglected by humans today, no one even uses it. He is a plant that is classified as a weed whose properties are rarely known. However, parents born in their 45s are very familiar with this plant.
The parents named this plant in the local language as "Geureupho" while the word Geureupho was adopted in the Aceh provincial language which means "Growing up as he likes". If it is refined, it means "irregular".
If you look at the character of this plant, it is indeed always growing and developing and controlling an empty area, if the area of 1 hectare is empty then it will spread and inhabit where the place is habitable.
So that if there is a salty sediment that will back and forth will grow and develop abundantly, this particular wild plant can survive in any situation, will always adapt to every type of soil, whether soil that settles in salt water or soil that has the potential to be submerged in fresh water. His strength in adapting to the environment is one of his strengths in developing.
The leaves contain carbohydrates
In official scientific research, experts have not specifically and thoroughly researched what is contained in these leaves, but according to the experience of the people at that time or those who lived in the year 45, very often consume them by picking the leaves and then cleaning (hygienically) boiled with a mixture of a little salt and then added seasonings that have been understood, it will produce a delicious and savory taste. Its high fiber content without toxins which can damage the cells of the limbs, can replace food when you are stranded on an island where it is very difficult to get rice.
In this era, people living on the coast, especially poultry breeders, really hope for this plant. Because it can also be boiled with a mixture of small fish so that it makes farm animals such as laying ducks to produce lots of eggs and can make the livestock body's immune defense from disease attacks.
The flowers are fragrant and gummy
For me personally, I really like to smell this Geureupho flower, because it has a fragrant aroma if you collect it in one handful and then squeeze it, then the distinctive aroma will be very felt by your sense of smell.
At first glance, the aroma is similar to the scent of jasmine, but there is a difference, if applied to the skin evenly at night, insects such as mosquitoes will not come because of the distinctive aroma effect that insects such as mosquitoes cannot smell. The power of the scent can mask your original body scent by the mosquito's sense of smell.
In addition, fishing communities are often used to treat mild itching due to irritation due to friction of an object or caused by a type of insect such as a mosquito. The content of the sap of the flower has a substance like the betadine tree which can cover the injured skin tissue, but it must be done continuously.
