Hello Guys !!!

Eating out with family and friends who have long separated is one of the things that is very exciting for myself personally.

In this area this activity is still considered taboo and is rarely carried out by Acehnese women, but in recent years this activity has become commonplace among young women as, usually this is done with husbands or close family members, when entering In this global era, this activity is no longer a strange thing from the sight of other men in public locations or in locations frequently visited by men.

If in 1990 there were no young women visiting caffe or hangout locations selling foreign food (the term Acehnese women) there were only men, because in that era it was a disgrace for good women except for women who had special jobs.

Times are increasingly changing in everything, people think no longer narrow like in the past era, if from 1990 to 2000 hanging out in cafes for Acehnese women or young mothers was taboo, then entering the 2010 era the situation changed.

Moreover, in every corner of the city there are many stalls or cafes that grow and develop that provide various types of food, both traditional and foreign food, although initially foreign food did not suit the tongue of the people, but now they are used to this condition and even become a favorite food for women Aceh as a new regional civilization that is widely sold around the city of Lhokseumawe, Aceh.

The presence of well-known foreign foods has also been traded in the Aceh region, this food has begun to develop in the Aceh area, especially in big cities, starting with local children who often migrate abroad and work in restaurants or food stalls, and their knowledge or their experiences are brought back from their home countries and then developed in their regions so that people are very enthusiastic about enjoying these foods with the same taste and pattern.

These foods and drinks that are rarely seen by the public are only traded abroad and now come with a mixture of regional food, so the taste is very different from the variety of concoctions, giving birth to new names and tastes.

Based on experience and based on the results of a personal survey, the author has seen his own fans and trends in our area that the most popular or most echoed foods for young people who come from abroad are:

  1. Tom Yun
  2. Dim Sum
  3. Sushi
  4. Tacos
  5. Hamburger
  6. Pizza
  7. Spaghetti
  8. Macaron
  9. and several other foods and beverages that come from abroad and locally.

These foreign specialties have now been mastered by traders whose knowledge is obtained based on experiences when local children work abroad.

We as a family always eat these foods and never get bored of consuming them which have a distinctive taste, especially to get them and the price is very suitable for our economy. This food is now very easy to find in the Lhokseumawe City area of Aceh.
Today is different from the days before, if yesterday we felt ashamed to be hang out in every corner of the city, now it has changed and has become the habit of every citizen, especially women in our area.

Even though things have changed, our manners and traditions are still being maintained, of course within our own religious sphere.
Thus today's activity with the family of old friends who have not met for a long time, today we are reunited at one of the famous cafes in our city. Hope you are entertained and like it.

That's it and thank you very much!
