Looks like this current "bloodbath" is here to stay, it's following quite a stubborn and adamant downtrend, diving deep and trying to reach the depths. And it's not like the usual bear markets either, people are liquidating like crazy, as if they're all prepping for something bad, a big hit of some sorts. The fear in the market is quite clear, no one is even trying to hide it, even some of the "HODL" gang members are having second thoughts.
Sadly, it doesn't just start and end with crypto and stocks. If we look a bit closer at our very "real" lifestyle, then we can see people with so called "stable" jobs and a simple lifestyle are facing issues too. It's quite obvious at this point, every time I talk to someone nowadays, I can just feel the stress and worry.
When you look close, you can see that it's all a huge process, a loop, where it's all intertwined, with absolutely no way out. No matter what sector you're invested in, most of us have are going to take a hit, whether it be big or small, sooner or later.
Judging from the price hikes and rates alone, you can tell that it's not looking too good over here. It's going to be a bumpy ride ahead, a ride that's going to last at least 2 to 3 years I'm guessing.
Yet...

Do you mean getting liquidated? :)
Who?
These words, hodl, rekt, pump… try not to use them. Just because everyone uses them around you doesn’t make it right. You don’t sound “cool” in using them. These words are the reason the real world financial geeks can never take the crypto people seriously.
These words are juvenile.
Fixed it dada, thanks for that. I got both the words mixed up.
I really don't use them dada, sometimes some of us do, but it's all when we're joking around. 😛
Very true, this is very relatable to real-life scenarios. The time we start thinking that everything is going fine, nothing does and we must always be prepared for the unknown but we never are, truly. But, what we can do maybe is, never lose hope as you say. It is definitely going to be a bumpy ride ahead.
It's always a bumpy ride I guess. Just sometimes these bumps are a bit too rough, or just too sudden.
Right. While we ourselves are engaged with it and when others become more impatient it gets bumpier 🤣 Did it ever happen that you are already in panic and you share with a friend? The aftermath is both of you are panicking and getting frustrated with each other now.
If this doesn't happen quite often, then that certain friendship isn't strong enough haha. 😂
Things might be bad indeed, I see people are losing jobs, companies are cutting their losses over at US. Recession is here. Let's see what happens.
P.S. I cant think of being a private employee now.
I'd have to say it's the same for me as well. I've always worked with startups, businesses, starting at the age of 17, and then I joined the family business in 2019 and it's still somewhat going.
Everything is going well so far, really can't complain. Covid did mess up a lot of things, and we're still cleaning up that mess. I just hope this recession doesn't cause too much harm.
Yet, I'd say we're doing alright, we have our necessary meals on the table, a roof over our heads, we're alive and "somewhat" healthy too. For now I'm just trying to balance it all out, the family business, the Hive live, while also working on a side gig.
