When you pull yourself out of the bed
You will find a pair of slippers
Lying next to the old worn out school bag
On your left
you will see a pair of dead eyes
Giving its first fake smile of the day
It will take 5 steps to leave the messy room
Only if you are lucky enough to avoid
Slipping on the crumble papers, tangled wires and left out boxes
If you look left
You will see a woman
Trying her best not to blow up the kitchen
If you look right
You will see a man
Fixing the collar of his shirt in a hurry
It will take 22 steps to reach the front door
Covered in black, gentle reminder of mistakes
If you look back
you will see a house of perfection
Displaying a fragile balance
It will take 60 steps to reach the rooftop
And the cold wind breeze will welcome your fragile body
But the rising sun will mock your pathetic existence
It will take 28 steps to reach the spot
You will freely breath for the first time
The wind will soothe your nerve
The birds will sing the afternoon song
And you will feel the urge to join them
Looking down
You will see the ground
Displaying the familiar
Welcoming gesture
And if you close your eyes
You can hear the infinite whispers
Hard to distinguish one from another
But pay close attention dear
And you will hear the faint chanting
Jump...
It will take 115 steps for you to reach the spot
All you have to do is obey.

This felt like I was there, taking a journey with you
@natashyamonroe That was the original intention and I am glad that you were able to feel it :')
Oh no! That's a terrible outcome! I hope it's not how you are feeling - it makes me really worried!!!! Beautifully written though!
@riverflows Thank you for your kind words :') and my poetry mostly comes from extreme emotions, but don't worry, it's the wild imagination :')
Hah yes, me too. Without emotion, I couldn't write!
