Imagine being greeted by a three-headed dog who is giant enough to make you feel small and insecure?
Imagine seeing a serpent that spits out the flame?
You are walking through the grass which is tall and you cannot see a thing other than those tall blades of grass. Then you see a paw print and you become wary. A grass ahead that you part, you look up to see a three-headed dog which looks down upon you, and then you also hear a hiss. Dwarfs running about and being surrounded by sneaks all around, you know you are done for especially if you happen to use the slug and even the thorns and armors cannot protect you.
Just wrote that for fun.
This week's theme is RETALIATE ABILITY and since I happened to use two monsters today and both displayed it, I thought I would share the battle. Please click on the image to view the battle.
The ruleset was to use Melee and equalizer and of course, I chose the Coca which is my fav. for that and the dwarf which is a beast, I also chose spy, the elven and the Cerberus, and the serpent. Together with Yodin Zaku. the win was certain.
I am hoping these tips will help new players learn the game. I am still learning and one day hope to get a maxed deck.
Tip
- Do not drain your ECR before season end. Give it a break.
- Make sure you observe the opponent teams and learn what he/she/bot used for the previous ones and decide accordingly.
- Try to join tournaments and battle with people across the game land and it will help you learn more about cards and strategies as well.
Thought I'd share a scooby comic for you guys, enjoy!

Here are a few photos of the games played a decade ago. The photos are of a book that describes it.
Duel Masters - Civilizations is the name of the book that was given by my nephew to my son when they were both children. I am amazed seeing all the pictures in the book which describe splinters and melee and rules and such stuff. I never imagined I would be playing a similar game called Splinterlands, ten years later.
Update - many of you may be wondering why such a huge upvote for my post. I have not asked for votes nor participate in such circles except for following voting trails and delegating to good projects. I believe that quality is better than quantity. So, if you prefer to read long paragraphs of matter being repeated in many ways and unintelligible literary jargon, then my posts are not for you. Please excuse. It is written for the person who is just like me.
Is there a way to win some real crypto from this game? I need more crypto to accumulate some coins for safe keeping on a trusted wallet like that of https://atomicwallet.io/ where I can be secured 100%.
i was getting frustrated with this game then i just discovered renting cards recently and it has really helped...it is inexpensive to rent top level cards..:)
To actually make some cash requires a lot of time understanding the game and building up a good deck...but the price of cards keeps going up...i think i have spent about 80-100 dollars over 6 months but my card collection is now worth 200.
