Amanda Queens is the only child of Mr and Mrs Sam Queens. She schooled at Yolks University just on the outskirts of Liverpool in the northwest of England. After graduation, it took her two years to get a job as as a receptionist in a law firm even though she studied estate management and used her salary to support herself and family who were doing poor at the moment until she recently got another job with an estate management company which she currently works with.
Amanda had a boyfriend called Terry. She met terry last two year just after graduation on a little friends reunion and one thing led to another and they started dating.
Amanda stood still as she stared at her beautiful face in the mirror and the pills in her hand. It was the second time she would be aborting a child for the same guy who had also been finding it difficult to propose to her. But then, Kingsley came along with a ring last night. She couldn't believe her eyes when he got down on one kneel and said the words she has longed to hear all this while, and to think that a man she met just few months ago was the one asking her to be his wife while the one person she had always wanted to marry her didn't, kinda made her ponder deep.
As she glued her face to the diamond ring, she marvelled. Her prayers finally answered.
She hated herself for being too forward. She shouldn't have told Terry that she was pregnant for him for the second time. As if in sync with her thoughts, a text message entered her phone.
"My mum wants to meet you. She knows about the pregnancy."
“Not this time”
She cried.
She tried to weigh the two men and how much she loved them;
Kingsley got her the six figure job after eight years of job hunting. He is so wealthy and would carry all her loads in one piece even though she doesn't like bothering people with her problems.
Terry was almost on the same level with her. Just that his parent used their last pension to build their only house.
Now caught in love triangle where she is not authorized to pick more than one.
If she leaves Terry, she would be throwing away years of relationship and dedication.
If she leaves Kingsley, she will surely end up like her parent. She had always wanted to destroy the root of poverty in her family.
The two men has tried their best, but who was more suitable, Terry or Kingsley?
Her mind was made up. She picked up her phone and called Terry, making her decision known to him. Terry accepted his fate. She aborted the baby.
