Battle of the day | Neck Pressing

in BDCommunity8 days ago

Kind of have a battle today with the tag **Battle of the day | Neck Pressing, somehow my battle this season is really going well and I was able to reach Gold 1 earlier than my previous season since start playing modern rank using my average deck collection unlike when I do rent cards just to boost my rating up but still end up defeated, maybe I will just stick to the monster cards I already get use to. Right now I hope to reach Diamond 3 before the season end, today battle was about neck pressing by using certain cards consistently and change it all of a sudden, as a magic card lover, I just love those unit all because they attack opponent cards health easily without stress unless the ruleset say otherwise but sometime when my spirit swift, I will just change my strategy and at times someone do fall for it.

This person here almost take me on the handicap ride but I pressed his neck, I think the person like checking out recently played team and somehow see me use more magic and he decided to play an anti magic game with me, we had 51 mana capped with 2 ruleset Heavy hitters and Holy protection, we can also pick any element except water and life so I went in with dragon paired with earth while using a gladiator summoner since I want to use Katrelba Gobson because of the sneak and double strike, if it can target small unit cards with low health, it can be stronger in stats.

I used Djinn Chwala as my frontline ( one of my frontline forces), then picked Carnage Titan with the impeccable ability (Reach, Double strike and shield), choose Venari marksrat next to it just to boost Katrelba Gobson incase it got destroyed then Uraeus to deal poisonous sneaks and lastly was Chaos Dragon which is the only magic cards. When I saw my opponent setup, I laughed a bit because somehow he was expecting the usual magic cards since he use a summoner with void yet use just 1 magic card in his setup, it would have shattered my strategy if I actually use magic cards and gave him upper hand but in this case, it felt like I 8 unit against 7 (if you count double strike twice).

I had rewatch the battle just to get some scope there, even though he use a taunt card with forcefield which take 5+ damage to 1, i was glad my double strike card strength isn't up to 5 so it really make sense and make it really hit, was able to destroy the frontline because I even bounce on his taunt card, he was 1 man down in first round, 2 in second round and it was 3 range card against 5 which make it easier for me to win the battle since range can't attack in the first position. It was really an interesting battle to watch
