With the flow of christmas still going on, hope you all had a great day. There is nothing that new on the platform except the amazing stuff we are patiently waiting for, first is the survival mode that will soon be implement to the game where you can battle with any card of your choice but they will be entering the cooldown mode once they get defeated in battle, this mode is energy free and someone dangerous in some aspect, even though it is free energy mode which means you can play as much as you want, that cooldown mode will make it more complicated but there are prizes to play to enjoy no energy game but that will make you get more cards off the market or rent more available cards. We also have some cool cards coming up this week especially on the hall of legend section that you will love to add to your collection if you really enjoy playing magic cards, also as a player, you should be checking out the community discord channel incase you are missing out on stuff, currently, there are challenges (twitter challenge in summary) going on in the announcement section where you need to use some certain summoners (give) to defeat some top summoners (also given) and if you happens to defeat any of these summoners, you need to tweet about it using specific hash tags and you get to win some packs and dec as prizes.
Taking a look at my battle for the week, I will love to show my Explosive weaponry strategy and how I do secure my wins, when it come to this particular ruleset, it do scare me most of the time since all unit will be having the blast ability which means they get to deal side damage to adjacent unit, there is no cards you will wish to use without it getting hit in this scenario except you have the reflection shield ability which is the only current ability capable of blocking any side damage, most times I make use of two strategy combo which really help most of the time, First is to make sure I pick high strength cards when it come to attack and the reason is that, the higher the attacking strength, the more damage the adjacent cards receive, this is one of the top trick and I have seen lot of players using this strategy in battles and it do work out. The other part is to make use of the high speed cards or card with extra speed to boost your game play, having higher speed against your opponent will make you attack first and that will deal the necessary damage and give you some upper hands in battle.

I had this particular 30 mana capped battle with 2 rulesets Maneuvers which give all cards the reach ability and also Explosive Weaponry for the blast ability, at some point I didn't know which element to pick between water and death but I known I won't like to really use high mana cards which I have in water element so I choose death element instead. I had to follow my strategy in selecting my cards, I picked Harklaw as my frontline based on it abilities then support it with Cursed Windeku since we have the reach ability which will make it attack from the second position and mind you, this cards have nothing less that 3 strength attacks. At some point, I had to pick 2 magic cards to suppose the strategy, Magi of chaos with 4 magic attack and oppress ability then Magi Necrosi with 3 magic attack but came with camouflage and snipe ability which can allow it to attack any magic or range cards that aren't in front position.
I was glad when I saw what my opponent brought on board, at some point, if I came in with all magic cards, I will really be at lost with his Iziar and pelacor conjurer that are anti magic, so my melee card fill in the gap and also Necrosi with the snipe ability was dealing the damage from within and the blast really work out and that make it easier for me and also gave me the upper hand in the battle.
