Finally another season suddenly came to an end without me really keeping to time, I really forgot we are already in middle of the month, even though I didn't accumulate enough glint reward but purchasing some epic draw really gave me that joyous smile, I have been meaning to acquire this particular card Olivia of the Brook, this particular epic card is really one of kind especially with the Mimic ability (first of it kind) that can mimic most of the ability we have in the game, starting from round 2, the card gain a random ability, it make it one of the favorite in some particular battle where it can be kept hidden and prevent from been attack, been opening draw to level mine to lvl 2 but wasn't lucky enough and purhasing it is not a good option since it cost 6$+ per 1, luck shine on me today and I got a gold foil Olivia (straight to level 2), time to improve my gameplay.
One of the question Newbie do ask is how they can earn within the game while also building their deck collection. Currently, Splinterland is more than a free to play game, one of the important aspect of the game is on deck building, without your deck (monster cards) you are not going anywhere, you can't play games without having monster cards either owning or by renting them. Since currently we have 2 tokens to earn while playing the game, first is Glint token which can be use in the glint shop, the second is sps which will be staked when claim, most times I do advice newbies to do the following things. Getting into the game with the hope of grabbing lot of monster cards might be overwhelming and will require lot of funds instead of that, it is really best to use the renting market section, cards are way cheaper to start with, grab some max cards at check price and the required league level card of those one with higher renting price and never forget the to have max cheap summoners, it really help a lot.
Can't really forgot when I had to start listing out the name of monster cards to rent based on their element, I will say my favourite cards, then make sure you rent a good amount of sps, currently the favourable renting price for sps is 0.002 per sps which is really cheap. To build your collection while earning now depend on good your gameplay is, winning more game will help in increasing your rating which in turn increase your glint and sps earning. After accumulating a substantial amount of glint from playing the game, head over to the glint shop section and make sure you grab as many draws as possible, most times I do make sure I start from the cheapest draw and make sure I level it up to some certain level before moving to the rest which do help a lot.
Building Your Collection
Building your deck collection will be more easier if you decided to utilize the blogging aspect splinterland by taking part in the weekly social media challenge and community engagement challenge where you get to blog about things relating to splinterlands, at the end of each season or at various time interval, you can always use the reward earn to purchase some certain cards, they use to say dropping of water make a mighty ocean, buying every single bcx cards you desire will help in building your deck collection on a long term basis and that will help in reducing the amount of cards you will get to rent every time, this method always work out and before you know it, you would have acquire a lot of things with time.
