So this is the first entry of Homonyms.
I can't lie and say I'm not excited about it. Because me and Sara have been talking about doing a project like this on and off for six whole years. But because of being lazy heads....we are six years too late.
Well, 'No time like the present', as they say.
Okay! I'll stop with my babbling and continue on with the topic at hand, now....
What Makes Me Happy??
Ahh happiness!! that weird little feeling you feel inside your chest and stomach whenever you come across something that makes you smile.
It comes in so many dozes, so many forms, and humans, being unique, express it in their own unique ways.
You see some people crying in happiness, some people squealing, screaming, smiling, laughing, getting shy— there’s just so many emotions that tie this one big thing together its— wondrous; mesmerising and mistifying.
Like all other humans in the world, even I have things that makes me happy. I may be a little bored with life, but I'm certainly not a cold-hearted-son-of-a-bitch who despise anything that breathes!
So yea, happiness...I've felt that.
And my happiness, comes in packets of small, simple things.
My happiness comes in pages of old worn-out story books. The yellow faded pages that not only hold stories but also memories from generations I've never known...now that's what makes me happy.
My happiness, comes in poetry I find myself relating to. I love it when someone understands me, and it's refreshing, to see lines written by someone else that resembles myself, making me feel just a little less lonely in this vast world.
My happiness comes in the thick fog of winter and heavy heavy rain. The mystery, the quietness of rain and winter, I thrive in the emptiness it brings.
Happiness creeps into me everytime I buy a copy of Oscar Wilde novels, even though I have all of them in multiples on my desk. It rushes over me whenever I drink coffee in rain, or just, walk alone on an empty road with my headphones on. It comes to me when I play my guitar or flute, when I express myself on paper, when I see a cat meowing at me, or a dog that wants to get petted.
I'm not generally a kind person, though it does make me happy to be kind with animals and children.
But mostly, happiness comes to me when I stay in solitude.
I've never been a people's person. I hate small talks and words said without deeper meanings. I hate wasting time on people who are like a blank page. So solitude, that's my lovely mistress.
Because it's in solitude where I find myself. And it's in solitude where I am genuinely, the happiest...

Well.. Look at us, finally accomplishing the things we said we would do XDD [Even if it's just this single thing :v ]
But that was a good read bro.. :') Time to write down mine :v
One thing at a time bro we will get every thing done!! (Look at me being optimistic what is happening?! XDDD)
Also yes, write yours idiot I wanna read!!
happiness doesn't come in big bundles (although sometimes 5 million dollar jackpot happens) - we just find it among the various meaningful/meaningless small stuff like the right cup of tea or jhal chanachur in rainy day and stuff like that ;) I'll go get me some chanachurrrr
Noq you are making me want chanachuurr, how DARE!!!
jokes aside, I believe happiness comes from simple things. (aside from that 5 million, I mean...who wouldn’t be happy with that!?) Complexity ruins contentment, as I say so myself! XD
It is better to seek happiness in solitude instead of being a people’s person. I liked you expression. But it doesn't happen all the time finding the perfect meaning of happiness.
Some of your likings made me re-think about them for me. But putting my headphones on and walking alone in a road; abd sink into the natural ambience is the most favourite one.
I wish to do it soon.
Thanking you for sharing....
6 years is a long time Sam. I will not sugarcoat, you guys are indeed lazy!
I share a lot of these little things with you. Winter makes me happy. And headphones. Coffee in rain. And of course solitude. :) I love solitude as it makes me spend time with things that actually matter.
You don't even know the half of it bro.. Me and Sara have at least five other plans (with an added new one just today!) that relates to writing. But do we ever do anything?
No. No we don't :')
Winter is the best season. There's simply no competition. Headphone, coffee and rain is love. And solitude, she is my mistress as I said.
Your mistress, eh?
haha!
You guys should start with those other writing plans as well. :) Some people on hive love initiatives. :)

Look who's up at the dead of the night! Go to sleep Notepad bro!
Yes it's my mistress. She keeps me up, as you can see :'))
We might start on the new one we talked about today. It's gonna be exciting :')
I'm a night owl, Sam. Also the security guard of BDC discord. This is pretty much the normality for me. Since you're here, you're probably the same or have some really important business to take care of!
Good luck with the new one. I will look forward to it.
No business bro, I'm an Insomniac, sadly. Can't sleep until dawn no matter how hard I try..:')
At least you have some responsibilities to take care of. I just waste away my time straing at nothing.
Can you sleep during day time?
I stay up at night because it's nice and quiet and I can enjoy the time alone. :)
