Those of you who have been following my blog know that I have been posting a lot about WAX blockchain recently. In fact, I started a WAX community on Peakd. [https://peakd.com/c/hive-194846/created] Today, I was looking for #WAX posts to re-blog in order to get the community started. I found a post from @panch3505 about "Crypto Shots".
I have heard about this game Crypto Shots briefly and seen the assets on the main WAX market. Other than that, I didn't know much about the game, except the fact that it is a first person shooter with nfts. I decided to take a look at the discord server for Crypto Shots and there was a pretty legit Sneak Peak channel with [what I would consider] proof that this is a real game in the works!
You can buy a teleportation device and gun to start playing a discord mini game [and participate in the early launch]. I don't really give a shit about that though LOL I decided to go more of an investment route and buy some cheaper nfts that might be needed LATER as people buy EVERY game asset in order to be a great in game player.
[Honestly if I had more wax, I would probably invest into the first launch, although the public launch isn't that much later. I might have even played the discord game. With my smaller amount of wax that I am willing to spend, I thought it was smarter to buy the cheapest in game nfts].
The cheapest [Crypto Shots] nfts are "Laser Rifle Crystal" for $1.57.
I assume this nft is for an in game purpose ... it seems like most of the nfts are for use in the first person shooter. There are a handful for Laser Rifle Crystal selling for 4.8 WAX. Then the price goes up pretty steeply! This is actually classified as a rare item!
I also invested in a slightly more expensive "Laser Gun Crystal" nft. I might as well invest in the parts for two different types of guns. [I'm really hoping this is a gun part!🤣].
I decided to go crazy and buy a whole gun. I got a laser gun, which is cheaper than the "base gun" you need to play the Discord game and earn early tokens. The cheapest Laser Gun is 24 WAX [around $8]. I think this will make for a good investment over time. I hope to buy more Cryptoshot assets soon. The game seems like a good investment in general.
