Mission

Hive is a community that is 100% dedicated to supporting content creators around the world. We are aiming to provide a good experience and environment for people to use, in addition to fostering quality and enjoyable content.

Vision

Our vision is to become the largest community in the Hive blockchain, covering all countries and different cultures. While we understand the challenging aspect of such a vision, it is nonetheless a driving force that is motivating us to go forward. Members of the community are also highly advised to use their country as a tag when adding their posts, which is going to help assess the progress of the community.

Essential Norms

To achieve our goals, we believe that it is of the utmost importance to have some rules and guidelines that will guide our beloved users. Act as a protection against malicious actors who want to harm our community, and preserve a certain level of prosperity and high-quality standards. Below, you will find the few most important pillars that should be taken into consideration before posting in the community as well as interacting with other members of the community:

Plagiarism & Spam

We have zero tolerance for plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and spam. All content should be unique, AI free, genuine, and Hive exclusive. Since we are playing a role in the promotion of Hive to the outer world, we should diligently play ours as community builders by helping authors who are here to support Hive and the Hive community. Users who are found to be infringing this trust by partaking in acts of plagiarism and spam ... will be muted and tagged properly to alert the rest of the community members.

Originality:

We always encourage users that their content is 100% unique and original, and we will make sure that their precious contributions will receive as much care as possible from the curation team. Nonetheless, we also understand that some users may also need/want to use unprotected and open-source materials (images, vectors, illustrations, videos) in their posts. They are allowed to do so as long as the materials used are properly and carefully referenced and sourced. All open and non-original materials that are not properly referenced and sourced will not be accepted.

Interaction & interrelationship

Members of the Hive Nation community should have a solid and Complementary relationship. What would a community be without its members? Nothing. So, the goal is to always avoid congested situations by encouraging healthy interaction and discussion between the community members. Members are highly encouraged to comment and visit the posts of other members. We reward interaction with others, and we will be willing to support those who visit, vote and comment on the posts made in the community.

Language & culture

Hive is not a specific-driven community. While we really love all the communities that are operating on Hive, we invite people who are willing to Join Hive to post in their native language as long as they also a translation in English, for obvious reasons.

Conflicts Resolution

We understand that people can naturally grow apart or have different opinions on specific matters. The members of Hive are more than welcome to express their constructive criticism objectively and without fear of retaliation or shadow-banning. We also aim to be 100% transparent, and the Hive team should always assure a certain level of responsiveness to the questions coming from the members of the community.
