Here is an owl edited by me a few years ago	Voici une chouette éditée par mes soins il y a quelques années

Octopus

Whimsical one of course, since it is one of my paintings made last year 😊	Fantaisiste bien sûr puisqu'il s'agit d'une de mes peintures réalisée l'année dernière 😊

Oreos

Again an edited photo where the Oreo is the model 😉	A nouveau une photo éditée, où le biscuit est encore une fois le mannequin 😉
I've never eaten Oreos but I photographed some ... LoL..A perfect name for an O hunt in fact 😁	Je n'ai jamais mangé d'Oréo mais j'en ai photographié un...LoL..Un nom parfait pour une chasse a l'O en fait 😁

Orchard

Here is the pretty orchard of my in-laws in Alsace	Voici le joli verger de ma belle-famille en Alsace

Ocean

What I like about the ocean is its tidal movement ...	Ce que j'apprécie avec l'océan c'est son mouvement de marées...
I live near a large lake and it's rather static, so the ocean tides are really very exotic for me 😊	Je vis auprès d'un grand lac et c'est plutôt statique, alors les marées de l'océan sont vraiment très dépaysantes pour moi 😊

Obsolete and Old

If you still have one you know how obsolete this item is, right?	Si vous en avez encore un vous savez à quel point cet objet est obsolète, n'est-ce pas ?

This is a funny thing to do, once you've decided you will give the alphabet hunt a try, you see things around you differently..as well as your files of photos when you browse them, you think in term of words to define a scene and of initials that match a hunt you are doing or that you put aside for later use..😉

I feel we are all at the end of the roll, as we say in french 😁 Anyway it's always good to take a brake to renew ourselves and bring back something new and energised...😉

This next five days I have my sister in law at home, and then by the tenth we will do a roadtrip to visit family in west and east during two weeks, we hope to find some coolness, we have such dog days here in Annecy ! 🤪

That's true, especially after the past months a break is important and necessary.

I have just replied to @qwerrie that I am also slowing down for a while.

We had a rainstorm last night, and the air has cooled down a bit, but now it is hot again, but it's Summer and I prefer a hot Summer to a rainy Summer, which we have also had before 😉

We haven't planned any vacation yet, but we might spend some time with my parents and on the mountains.
And there will certainly be a few motorbike trips in the next week's 😁

I wish you a happy and relaxing time with your family and hopefully you'll find some coolness 😄

People have reacted so nicely to the break...lol...I think that in fact they would not like to miss one letter while they are taking some vacations so they are relieved the hunt will not go on without them 😉 That's a bit specific to this challenge, but with the marketfriday you could take a break and let people do their posts if they want, you just announce them that you will not be there during a period of time, but for that you must not feel guilty of whatever my dear, you are not obliged to comment and upvote each post (but I know exactly how you feel, I'm kinda the same 😄 )

you could ask someone as mod of the community and ask to do the job for a while...(don't ask me, I'm kinda overwhelmed with mine + feathered friends...LoL)

I struggled trying to get my post up on time after using the Ecency app for hours before finally giving up and throwing my smartphone hands in the air. incredibly nice "obsolete and old" illustrations! (maybe its rather old, then obsolete). actually, nnow I can have a closer look at your pickups -- I like all of them! and 2/3 are coincide with mine, to some extinction. I do not have ocean images but if only I had, I'd definitely choose it. same with octopus and orchard. and I actually grabbed an owl. i.e. all in all, we have matches in pickups, and I enjoy this fact!

ps. why you've never eaten Oreos, I wonder?..
