@barbara-orenya I love cherries but I think it's costly here in Nigeria. I am not sure it's planted in this region.
it is true that all fruits do not grow in the same climates .... sorry that you cannot eat cherries, it is a delicious fruit, but fortunately it is possible for you to savour other fruits 😉

That tree is huge! Picking cheries at a nearby orchard is one of my favorite things to do with all the kids when they are small, because the branches are low enough to the ground that they can pick buckets full of cherries without needing to climb on a ladder.
Oh wow....this is a small tree 😊 ideal for the children indeed ! my neighbour's ones are old and huge, there are two giant cherry trees in the garden, that makes a lot of cherries for everyone, birds included 😉 😁
The pleasure is to eat them on the tree, isn't it ? Like for any fruits picking btw 😋 😊
The Montmorency cherries that are grown around here are very tart. They make the best cherry pies, but only when loaded up with lots of sugar! We had such late freezing temperatures that I am worried about our orchard crops this year. Cherries, and apple blossoms, too were damaged.

So lucky to be able to pick your own cherries and that's a huge tree , they are one of my favorite fruits and the currants are looking great also 👍
yes we are lucky that our neighbour has two big trees and allow us each year to pick them as there are more than enough cherries for all the neighborhood on them...LoL
How awesome it doesn't get any better then that fresh cherries straight of the tree how lucky are you , i have a big Mulberry tree in my backyard and i share them with the neighbors and the ones on top of the tree that we can't get at we leave for the birds 😊
It is a bit fiddling to pick up cherries, but it is worth. 🍒
There are couple of cherry trees close to our block of flats, still not ready.
We had a sunny weather during these two months of lockdown, so the cherry trees are well in advance...LoL...but too much fruits gives small ones, and unfortunately they are not tasty 😏
